That TODD P. AND MARLA A. KNECHT (mortgagor) conveyed a mortgage dated 1/14/97 (date of mortgage) to MERCHANT'S BANK OF CALIFORNIA, N.A. (mortgagee), said mortgage being recorded in HALL County in the state of NEBRASKA as Document Number 97- 100300, Book ; Page on 1/14/97 (date of recording). 2. That said mortgage was assigned by MERCHANT'S BANK OF CALIFOItNIA,N.A. (mortgagee) to HOUSEHOLD FINANCE CORPORATION and that accompanying Note was endorsed by MERCHANT'S BANK OF CALIFORI�TIA,N.A. (mortgagee) to HOUSEHOLD FINANCE CORPORATION without recourse. 3. That said Assignment of Mortgage was lost, misplaced or destroyed and that a duplicate Assignment of Mortgage can not be obtained. 4. That said mortgage has not been assigned to any other party and that HOUSEHOLD FINANCE CORPORATION is the current holder and owner of the Note and mortgage in qu�stion. 5. That this affidavit is made to induce the HALL (county recorder of deeds) to accept for recording a Release of Mortgage for said mortgage executed by HOUSEHOLD FINANCE CORPORATION as last assignee of MERCHANT'S BANK OF CALIFORNIA,N.A. (mortgagee). The undersigned HOUSEHOLD FINANCE CORPORATION agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the said HALL (county recorder of deeds) against any and all costs or claims that may arise from the ac��ptance and recording of said Release ef Mortgage. 6. To-wit this affidavit is executed by an Assistant Vice President of HOUSEHOLD FINANCE CORPORATION and the corporate seal of HOUSEHOLD FINANCE CORPORATION affixed.
