The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal corporation, by action of its City Council on April 12, 1999, enacted Ordinance No. 8472, which directed the conveyance of a one-half interest in the real estate described below and the manner and terms thereof. 2. Ordinance No. 8472 was published in the Grand Island Independent according to law on April 19, 1999, and notice of such sale and the terms thereof were published in the Grand Island Independent for three successive weeks, on April 20, April 27, and May 4, 1999, all as required by Section 16-202, R.R.S. 1943. 3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty (30) days of the passage and publication of Ordinance No. 8472. 4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 8472 provides that if no remonstrance be filed against such conveyance, the Mayor and City Clerk shall make, execute and deliver to the Grantee a Warranty Deed for said real estate, and the execution of such deed is hereby authorized without further action on behalf of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) received from Grantee, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto THE COUNTY OF HALL, NEBRASKA, A body politic and corporate, herein called the Grantee, a one-half interest in the following described property in Hall County, Nebraska:
