202604052 <br />1 <br />RESOLUTION 2026-170 <br />WHEREAS know all men by these presents, that John Britton, being the owner of the <br />land described hereon, have caused same to be surveyed, subdivided, platted and designated as <br />"DIAMOND PLASTICS SUBDIVISION", A tract of land comprising of Lots 27, 28, 29 & 30 of <br />Reuting's First Subdivision, Lot 1 of Bick's Subdivision, Lots 1 & 2 of Bick's Third Subdivision, <br />and a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section Twenty -Four (24), Township Eleven (11) North, <br />Range Ten (10) East of the 6th P.M., in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />WHEREAS, a copy of the plat of such subdivision has been presented to the Boards <br />of Education of the various school districts in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, as required by <br />Section 19-923, R.R.S. 1943; and <br />WHEREAS, a form of subdivision agreement has been agreed to between the owner <br />of the property and the City of Grand Island; and <br />WHEREAS, said subdivision was approved by the City of Grand Island at their <br />meeting on April 22, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, at the time of this meeting June 23, 2026 the plat has not been filed by <br />the owner or their representative; and <br />WHEREAS, a representative for the owner has shown extenuating circumstances <br />with relate to the acquisition of highway right of way adjacent to the subdivision that prevented <br />filing the plat. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the form of subdivision agreement herein <br />before described is hereby reauthorized as approved on this date, and the Clerk is hereby authorized <br />to file such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the final plat of DIAMOND PLASTICS <br />SUBDIVISION, as made out, acknowledged, and certified, is hereby reauthorized as approved by <br />the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, and the Clerk is authorized to file this <br />resolution on behalf of the City of Grand Island. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, June 23, 2026. <br />R`6ger G.
