SHADY ) <br />BEND RD, GRAND ISLAND, ) <br />NEBRASKA, ) <br />) <br />Defendants. ) <br />NOW ON this 19th day of August, 2025, this Court reviewed <br />Plaintiff's Motion to Determine and Assess Costs and the Affidavit of Ed <br />Klimek and finds that the Plaintiffs request is proper and should be <br />granted. <br />The Court, being duly advised, finds that the City expended the <br />sum of Thirty -Eight Thousand Two Hundred Forty -Seven and 50/100 <br />Dollars ($38,247.50) to abate the nuisance known as 3658 S. Shady Bend <br />Road, Hall County, Nebraska. Plaintiff is entitled to assess the costs <br />against the real estate and the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby <br />granted a lien against the property in the amount of Thirty -Eight <br />Thousand Two Hundred Forty -Seven and 50/100 Dollars ($38,247.50). <br />IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, that the costs of $38,247.50 are <br />assessed against the Defendants jointly and severally. <br />IT IS FURTHER ORDERED THAT, the this assessment shall be <br />a judgment lien against the property. <br />IT IS FURTHER ORDERED THAT, Defendants have sixty (60) <br />days to pay the assessed costs. Upon expiration of sixty days, the <br />Plaintiff has the right to foreclose on the judgment lien. <br />SO ORDEI3.ED: <br />DISTRICT COURT JUDGE <br />
