201400552 <br />ORDINANCE 430 <br />An Ordinance of the City of Wood River, Nebraska, creating <br />combined Street Improvement Districts Nos. 2000 -1, 2000 -2 and 2000- <br />3; defining the same and the limits thereof; providing for streets <br />to be improved by construction of concrete pavement with curb and <br />gutter, drainage structures and such other work as is necessary and <br />incidental thereto; providing for plans, specifications, estimates <br />of cost and securing of bids for the work so described; providing <br />for the payment of such work and other expenses incidental thereto; <br />providing for the assessment for the cost of said improvements <br />against the property in said districts, especially benefitted <br />thereby in proportion to said benefits; providing for the issuance <br />of district improvement warrants and district and intersection <br />improvement bonds, if necessary, and for the levy of special <br />assessments to pay for said improvements; providing for the <br />repealing of all Ordinances in conflict herewith; and for providing <br />the time when the Ordinance shall take effect. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WOOD RIVER, <br />NEBRASKA: <br />Section 1. Combined Street Improvement Districts Nos. 2000- <br />1, 2000 -2 and 2000 -3 are hereby created pursuant to § 17 -509, et. <br />seq., R.R.S. Neb., as amended. <br />Section 2. Said Street Improvement Districts above described <br />shall include and encompass the designated portion of the streets <br />and alley located in the City of Wood River, Nebraska, as more <br />particularly described herein and the limits, boundaries, and <br />improvements of said districts are defined and established as <br />follows: <br />A. District 2000 -1 shall be for the improvement to Eighth <br />Street from U.S. Highway 11 to West Street and Marshall <br />Street from Ninth Street to U.S. Highway 30 and shall <br />include construction of concrete pavement with curb and <br />gutter and drainage structures. <br />The boundaries of Street Improvement District 2000 -1 are <br />described as commencing at the intersection point of the <br />centerline of U.S. Highway 11 and the centerline of <br />Eighth Street, said point being the point of beginning; <br />thence Southerly along the centerline of U.S. Highway 11 <br />to a point midway between the South right -of -way line of <br />Eighth Street and the North right -of -way line of the <br />Alley Access (old Seventh Street) ; thence Easterly along <br />a line midway between the South right -of -way line of <br />Eighth Street and the North line of the Alley Access (old <br />Seventh Street) to a point midway between the East right - <br />of -way line of Dodd Street and the West right -of -way line <br />of Marshall Street, also being the Northeast corner of <br />
