201400552 ORDINANCE 430 An Ordinance of the City of Wood River, Nebraska, creating combined Street Improvement Districts Nos. 2000 -1, 2000 -2 and 2000- 3; defining the same and the limits thereof; providing for streets to be improved by construction of concrete pavement with curb and gutter, drainage structures and such other work as is necessary and incidental thereto; providing for plans, specifications, estimates of cost and securing of bids for the work so described; providing for the payment of such work and other expenses incidental thereto; providing for the assessment for the cost of said improvements against the property in said districts, especially benefitted thereby in proportion to said benefits; providing for the issuance of district improvement warrants and district and intersection improvement bonds, if necessary, and for the levy of special assessments to pay for said improvements; providing for the repealing of all Ordinances in conflict herewith; and for providing the time when the Ordinance shall take effect. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WOOD RIVER, NEBRASKA: Section 1. Combined Street Improvement Districts Nos. 2000- 1, 2000 -2 and 2000 -3 are hereby created pursuant to § 17 -509, et. seq., R.R.S. Neb., as amended. Section 2. Said Street Improvement Districts above described shall include and encompass the designated portion of the streets and alley located in the City of Wood River, Nebraska, as more particularly described herein and the limits, boundaries, and improvements of said districts are defined and established as follows: A. District 2000 -1 shall be for the improvement to Eighth Street from U.S. Highway 11 to West Street and Marshall Street from Ninth Street to U.S. Highway 30 and shall include construction of concrete pavement with curb and gutter and drainage structures. The boundaries of Street Improvement District 2000 -1 are described as commencing at the intersection point of the centerline of U.S. Highway 11 and the centerline of Eighth Street, said point being the point of beginning; thence Southerly along the centerline of U.S. Highway 11 to a point midway between the South right -of -way line of Eighth Street and the North right -of -way line of the Alley Access (old Seventh Street) ; thence Easterly along a line midway between the South right -of -way line of Eighth Street and the North line of the Alley Access (old Seventh Street) to a point midway between the East right - of -way line of Dodd Street and the West right -of -way line of Marshall Street, also being the Northeast corner of
