200400551 <br />are set forth in the Schedule attached hereto, excluding such <br />amounts of costs being assumed by the City of Wood River, Nebraska, <br />for general intersection and access costs and the pro rata cost of <br />improvements upon real estate owned by the municipality abutting <br />the streets in said districts. The total project costs assumed by <br />the City of Wood River, Nebraska, as general obligation of the City <br />for the three districts totals $79,978.31. <br />Section 2. The assessments for street improvements shall <br />become payable in equal annual installments over a period of 10 <br />years, the first such equal installment shall become delinquent in <br />50 days after the date of levy and passage of this Ordinance. Each <br />installment shall draw interest at a rate of 6.5% per annum from <br />the date of the passage of this Ordinance until the annual <br />installment payment shall become due and payable on May 1 of each <br />year following the passage of this Ordinance, commencing May 1, <br />2003. Installment payments not paid by May 1 shall become <br />delinquent and after the same become delinquent, interest at the <br />rate specified in Section 45- 104.01, R.R.S. Neb., as such rate may <br />from time to time be adjusted by the Legislature, shall be paid <br />thereon. Should there be three (3) or more such installments <br />delinquent and unpaid on the same property, the City Council may by <br />Resolution declare all future installments on such delinquent <br />property to be accelerated, to become due and payable immediately <br />on a fixed future date. <br />Section 3. All of such installments may be paid at one time <br />on any lot or land within 50 days from the day of the levy without <br />interest, and if so paid, such lot or land shall be exempt from any <br />lien or charge therefor. <br />Section 4. Any assessments or portions thereof remaining <br />unpaid after 15 days from the date of levy and passage of this <br />Ordinance shall be certified to the Hall County Clerk and Hall <br />County Treasurer for collection and a copy of this Ordinance and a <br />Certificate of the City Clerk shall be recorded and indexed in the <br />Office of the Hall County Register of Deeds against each such <br />property as a lien. The lien for special assessments shall be <br />released by the City Clerk upon final payment of the special <br />assessment. <br />Section 5.
