202402548 <br />6. Care and Maintenance. Subdivider acknowledges and understands that at all <br />times during the development process and at all times thereafter the property must be maintained in <br />compliance with City Code including insuring that no grass, weeds, or worthless vegetation <br />accumulates and that the property remains free and clear of any prohibited garbage, waste, rubbish or <br />construction debris except for construction materials as allowed by law. Subdivider will ensure all <br />contractors, subcontractors, current and subsequent owners, or successors and assigns are notified of <br />their obligations to maintain the property as required by City Code. <br />7. Driveways. The City of Grand Island will limit access to 13th Street to the <br />single point of access that exists at the time of subdivision. The drive access as shown on the plat is <br />located on both lots 1 and 2 along the common property line on the west side of Lot 2. No additional <br />curb -cuts and/or driveways shall be allowed. <br />8. Easements. Any easements shall be kept free of obstructions and the <br />Subdivider shall indemnify the City for any removal or repair costs caused by any obstructions. In <br />addition, the duty to maintain the surface of any easements to keep them clear of any worthless <br />vegetation or nuisance shall run with the land. <br />8. Engineering Data. All final engineering plans and specifications for public <br />improvements shall bear the signature and seal of a professional engineer registered in the State of <br />Nebraska and shall be furnished by the Subdivider to the Department of Public Works for approval <br />prior to contracting for construction of any improvements. Inspections of improvements under <br />construction shall be performed under the supervision of a professional engineer registered in the <br />State of Nebraska, and upon completion shall be subject to inspection and approval by the <br />Department of Public Works prior to acceptance by the City of Grand Island.
