<br />DURABLE POWER OF ATTORNEY
<br />I, Kenneth W. Ruff, of Grand Island, Nebraska, make, constitute and
<br />appoint my daughter, Gerri L. Jackson, of Grand Island, Nebraska and whose
<br />phone number is 308-390-7245, and my son, Tro D. Ruff, of Central City,
<br />Nebraska and whose phone number is 30 -9.1-03• , my true and lawful
<br />attorneys -in -fact for me, to act either jointly individually My attorneys -in -fact
<br />may act in my name, place and stead, on my b hf 'a.nd—f r my use and benefit:
<br />1. To deposit in my name and for my account with any bank or other financial
<br />institution all monies payable or belonging to me, including checks and all other
<br />commercial instruments, and to sign my name and endorse all documents for
<br />deposit or collection or any other purpose.
<br />2. To withdraw all monies deposited with any bank or other financial
<br />institutions and to draw checks, sign withdrawal slips and execute any other
<br />instruments necessary for withdrawing monies belonging to me.
<br />3. To sell, transfer, exchange, mortgage, encumber by security agreement or
<br />any other form of encumbrance, my real estate and personal property, and to
<br />execute and deliver deeds, including deeds of warranty, contracts, bills of sale,
<br />mortgages, security agreements and other documents necessary to act in
<br />carrying out these powers.
<br />4. To collect, sue,. compromise or otherwise dispose of any claim or debt due
<br />or payable to me, and to pay, compromise or otherwise discharge and secure
<br />releases from any obligations owed by me.
<br />5. To hold, manage, invest, reinvest, trade, exchange, buy and sell
<br />investments and investment securities.
<br />6. To lease, rent, manage, terminate leases, contract as to, and generally
<br />deal and use my real estate and interests in real , estate, upon covenants,
<br />conditions and terms my attorney-in-fact shall determine, receive and collect all
<br />rents and all other amounts due me as security for the•faithful performance of
<br />leases and all rents due and payable to me, and execute all necessary
<br />documents and other papers pertaining to my real estate.
<br />7. To perform any act, power, duty, right or obligation that I now have or may
<br />hereafter acquire the legal right, power or capacity to exercise or perform, relating
<br />to any person, transaction, thing, business property, real or personal, tangible or
<br />intangible, or matter whatsoever.
<br />This Durable Power of Attorney shall not be affected by my disability as
<br />principal. I reserve the right to revoke this Durable Power of Attorney in writing.
