WHEREAS, the City will permit sanitary sewer lines to connect directly to the public sanitary sewer main, subject to certain conditions being met by the Owner. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and agreements hereinafter contained, the parties agree as follows: 1. The City hereby grants to the Owner a permit to connect the property at 825 GEDDES ST to the City's sanitary sewer, Plumber must follow the detail of connection as discussed with Public Works Director to install a tee and a cleanout to the eight (8) inch stub from Manhole No. 171. Licensed plumber must also obtain a Sanitary Sewer Tap permit from Public Works Administration., as shown on the attached drawing dated September 13, 2023, in accordance with the City Plumbing Code and the requirements of the Director of Public Works. Such connection is to be inspected and approved by the Public Works Director, or their designee. 2. The private extension to the existing sanitary sewer main shall be constructed and maintained by the Owner and shall remain the property of the Owner, and in no event shall the City be required to maintain the line. Often the private sanitary sewer line extends outside of the property line.
