200110807 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8700 (Cont.) <br />(60.0) feet to a point two (2.0) feet south of the northeast corner of Lot Four (4), <br />Block Five (5), Jenkinson Subdivision; thence westerly on a line two feet south of <br />and parallel to the north line of said Lot Four (4), Block Five (5), Jenkinson <br />Subdivision, to the west line of Lot Four (4), Block Five (5), Jenkinson <br />Subdivision; thence southerly on the west line of Lots One (1) through Four (4), <br />inclusive, Block Five (5), Jenkinson Subdivision, and a prolongation thereof for a <br />distance of Five Hundred Thirty (530.0) feet to a point on the south line of Capital <br />Avenue; thence easterly on the south line of Capital Avenue to the south <br />prolongation of the east line of Lot Three (3), Block Two (2), Jenkinson <br />Subdivision; thence northerly on the easterly line of Lots Three (3) and Six (6), <br />Block Two (2), Jenkinson Subdivision, and a prolongation thereof for a distance <br />of Five Hundred Thirty (530.0) feet to the point of beginning, all as shown on the <br />attached plat dated October 3, 2001, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein <br />by reference. <br />SECTION 3. The following streets in the district shall be improved by paving <br />and other incidental work in connection therewith: <br />Jay Street, from Capital Avenue to Dack Avenue in the City of Grand Island, Hall <br />County, Nebraska. <br />Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications <br />approved by the Engineer for the City of Grand Island and approved by the Mayor and City <br />Council. <br />SECTION 4. All improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, <br />shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby as provided by <br />law <br />SECTION 5. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the <br />office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />SECTION 6.
