1 <br />202302616 <br />RESOLUTION 2023-133 <br />WHEREAS, a sidewalk easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from <br />Roebuck Enterprises, LLC at 2215 West 2nd Street; Lot One (1), Block Seventeen (17) in Baker's <br />Addition, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska and more particularly described as follows: <br />COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT ONE (1), SAID POINT BEING THE <br />ACTUAL POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT <br />ONE (1) A DISTANCE OF 8.00 FEET; THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY TO A POINT ON THE EAST LINE <br />OF SAID LOT ONE (1), SAID POINT BEING 8.00 FEET SOUTHEASTERLY OF THE NORTHEAST <br />CORNER OF SAID LOT ONE (1); THENCE NORTHWESTERLY ON THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT <br />ONE (1), A DISTANCE OF 8.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. SAID TRACT CONTAINS 31.99 <br />SQUARE FEET MORE OR LESS. <br />WHEREAS, an agreement for the sidewalk easement has been reviewed and <br />approved by the City Legal Department; and <br />WHEREAS, there is no cost for the acquisition of such easement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, <br />authorized to enter into the agreement for the sidewalk easement on the above described tract of <br />land. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, May 23, 2023. <br />Attest: <br />Do.flas_ <br />RaNae Edwards, City Clerk <br />RogeG.
