20001059/ <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8643 (Cont.) <br />Two Hundredths (16.92) feet; thence east on the southerly line of Lot One (1) <br />Community College Subdivision a distance of Twenty (20.0) feet; thence <br />northerly on the east line of Community College Subdivision to a point Forty and <br />Forty Nine Hundredths (40.49) feet north of the northeast corner of Lot Two (2) <br />Community College Subdivision; thence westerly on a line north of and parallel <br />to the north line of Lots Two (2) and Three (3) Community College Subdivision <br />to a point that is Sixty (60.0) feet north of the north line of Lot Three (3) of said <br />subdivision and Three Hundred (300.0) feet west of the west line of Wortman <br />Drive; thence south on a line Three Hundred (300.0) feet west of and parallel to <br />the west line of Wortman Drive to a point of curvature; thence curving to the left <br />on an arc with a radius of Five Hundred Fifty Nine (559.0) feet to a point Three <br />Hundred (300.0) feet west of the west line of Wortman Drive; thence southerly on <br />a line Three Hundred (300.0) feet west of and parallel to the west line of Wortman <br />Drive to the south line of Section 29 -11 -9; thence easterly on the south line of <br />said Section 29 -11 -9 for a distance of Four Hundred Eighty (480.0) feet to the <br />west line of the St. Joe Branch Union Pacific Railroad; thence north on the west <br />line of St. Joe Branch Union Pacific Railroad for a distance of Eighty (80.0) feet <br />to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat dated November 29, 2000, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving and <br />other incidental work in connection therewith: <br />Wortman Drive from the centerline of U.S. Highway No. 34 to Sixty (60.0) feet <br />north of the south boundary line of Lot Five (5), Community College Subdivision, <br />in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications <br />approved by the Engineer for the City of Grand Island and approved by the Mayor and City <br />Council. <br />SECTION 4. All improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, <br />shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby as provided by <br />law. <br />SECTION 5. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the <br />office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />Approved as to Form <br />- 2 - December 1, 2000 ♦ City Attorney <br />
