202206563 <br />NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR TAX DEED <br />To: Shelly A Gregg; John Doe and Mary Doe, parties in possession, real names unknown; and <br />any and all persons/entities who have or claim some lien or interest in the real estate described <br />below, <br />UNLESS YOU ACT YOU WILL LOSE THIS PROPERTY <br />You are hereby notified that on March 6, 2019, SI 70, LLC, purchased from the Treasurer of Hall <br />County, Nebraska, at a public tax sale for delinquent real estate taxes for the year of 2017 the <br />following described real estate: <br />Lot Three (3), Block Three (3), Olde Mill Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, <br />Hall County, Nebraska, <br />for $4,599.41, said Treasurer issued a Tax Sale Certificate number 20190139, representing <br />$4,194.60 of delinquent taxes plus interest, costs and fees to SI 70, LLC. This Tax Sale <br />Certificate was subsequently assigned to Kenneth Knosp. This real estate was assessed in the <br />name of Shelly A Gregg. <br />Since the issuance of certificate 20190139 the owner of the certificate has paid additional taxes <br />for the years of 2018, 2019 and 2020. These additional payments total $13,534.92, <br />representing $13,478.38 of taxes plus interest, costs and fees. Subsequent taxes may have <br />been paid and interest may have accrued as of the date this notice is signed by the purchaser. <br />Pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 77-1831, you are further notified that the issuance of a tax deed is <br />subject to the right of redemption under Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 77-1824 to 77-1830. The right of <br />redemption requires payment to the county treasurer, for the use of such purchaser, or his or <br />her heirs or assigns, the amount of taxes represented by the tax sale certificate for the year the <br />taxes were levied or assessed and any subsequent taxes paid and interest accrued as of the <br />date payment is made to the county treasurer. The right of redemption expires at the close of <br />business on the date of application for the tax deed, and a deed may be applied for after the <br />expiration of three months from the date of service of this notice. <br />You are further notified that the owner of said certificate, to protect his legal interests, may <br />timely file a certificate of tax sale foreclosure action in the district court of said county, and will, <br />after the expiration of at least three months from the date of service of this notice, apply to the <br />said county treasurer for a tax deed to the said real property, unless you redeem the property <br />prior to your right of redemption expiring. <br />Dated March 14, 2022. <br />7-f/ —> <br />Kenneth Knosp <br />Owner and Holder of said Certificate of Tax Sale <br />
