Power to Buy Property: My Agent is authorized to buy every kind of <br />property, real, personal, intangible, on such terms and conditions as my Agent shall deem <br />appropriate; to obtain options with respect to such purchases; and to arrange for appropriate <br />dispositions, use, safekeeping or insuring of any such property. <br />Section 2.8. Brokerage Accounts: My Agent is specifically authorized to buy and sell <br />securities on my behalf, to establish, utilize and terminate accounts with securities brokers, to <br />change, close, maintain, or open any account and to deal and transact business with any agent, <br />broker, dealer, or other person or persons, to hold or transfer any security in the name or names of <br />any nominee or nominees, in registered or unregistered form, or in or through any other direct or <br />indirect mode, and otherwise generally to act or decide as to any security or related circumstance, <br />condition, interest, matter, property, question, or transaction, specifically granting to my Agent a <br />General Power for Securities incorporating herein by this reference the powers enumerated under <br />NEB. REV. STAT. §30-4029 as though fully set forth herein. <br />Section 2.9. Pledging Assets: My Agent may pledge any of my property as security for any <br />loan made to me or in my name. My Agent is authorized to mortgage or convey by deed of trust or <br />otherwise encumber any real property now or hereafter owned by me, as security for any such loan. <br />My Agent is authorized to grant security interests in any personal property or intangibles now or <br />hereafter owned by me, as security for any such loan. <br />Section 2.10. Governmental Benefits: My Agent is authorized to utilize all lawful means to <br />obtain any benefits payable to or for my benefit by any governmental agency or body, such as <br />Supplemental Social Security (SSI), Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security Disability <br />Insurance (SSDI). For the purposes of receiving Social Security benefits, I appoint my Agent as my <br />"Representative Payee." My Agent is authorized to compromise any claims for governmental <br />benefits. Further, my Agent shall have full authority and power to do and perform all and every act <br />and anything whatsoever requisite and advisable to be done under all of the agricultural programs <br />under the jurisdiction of the United States Department of Agriculture, administered through County <br />FSA committees, including access to County FSA office records necessary to complete the <br />transactions and the actions associated with my property. <br />Section 2.11. Safe Deposit Boxes: This power grants to my Agent the full authority to open <br />and enter any safe deposit box that may be in my name at any time. My Agent may take any action <br />concerning any safe deposit box in my name, including, but not limited to, removing any contents <br />from any safe deposit box, adding contents to any safe deposit box and terminating the lease of any <br />safe deposit box. My Agent may establish a safe deposit box in my name. These same powers shall <br />apply to any joint safe deposit box of which I am a signatory. <br />Section 2.12. Treasury Securities: My Agent may transfer any part or all of my interest in any <br />type of United States Treasury securities, including, but not limited to, T-bills, E -bonds, H bonds, <br />EE bonds, HH bonds, treasury debentures, and treasury notes. My Agent may acquire any of these <br />securities in my name. This power shall apply to securities issued by any U.S. government agency <br />or any security guaranteed or backed by the U.S. government or any of its agencies. <br />Section 2.13, Taxes: My Agent is authorized to represent me in all tax matters; to prepare, <br />sign, and file federal, state, or local income, gift and other tax returns of all kinds; and to prepare and <br />sign any power of attorney form appointing an Agent required by the Internal Revenue Service, any <br />state taxing authority or any local taxing authority. <br />Page 3 of 7 <br />
