<br />1. The CIty of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its City Council on November
<br />5, 199% enacted Ordinance No. 7688 which directed the conveyance of the real estate
<br />described below and the manner and terms thereof:
<br />2, Ordinance No. 7688 was published in the Grand Island Daily Independent
<br />according to law, and notice of such sale and the terms thereof was published in the Grand
<br />Island Daily Independent, a newspaper published in and of general circulation in Grand
<br />Island, Hall County, Nebraska, for three consecutive weeks, on November 13, November 20,
<br />and November 27, 1990, all as required by Section 16 -202, R.R.S. 1943, as amended.
<br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City Council of the City
<br />of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and publication
<br />of Ordinance No. 76%.
<br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 7688 provides that if no remonstrance is filed
<br />against such conveyance, the Mayor and City Clerk shall make, execute, and deliver to
<br />JAMES L KOENIG and BETH R. KOENIG, husband and wife, a warranty deed for said
<br />real estate, and the execution of such deem is hereby authorized without further action on
<br />behalf of the City Council.
<br />5. NOW, THEREFORE, the CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a
<br />municipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration of Seven
<br />Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00) received from the Grantees, hereby grants,
<br />bargains, sells, conveys, and confirms unto
<br />JAMES L KOENIG and BETH R. KOENIG,
<br />husband and wife, as joint tenants, the following described real estate:
<br />Lot 8, and the West 36.8 feet of Lot 7, Block E, Parkview
<br />Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />To have and to hold the above described premises, together with all tenements,
<br />hereditaments, and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the Grantee, its successors and
<br />assigns forever.
<br />Grantees waive any right to protest a water main district, and agree to pay the regular
<br />assessment charge.
