1 <br />20210316g <br />RESOLUTION 2021-80 <br />WHEREAS, current property is being dedicated by the City of Grand Island as a <br />permanent gas regulator easement to allow for further development of the area south of Old Potash <br />Highway, west of North Road described as follows: <br />COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SEC 23 -Ti 1N-R1OW; THENCE ON AN <br />ASSUMED BEARING OF N89°29'35"W, ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF THE NORTHEAST <br />QUARTER (NE1/4), A DISTANCE OF 412.90 FEET; THENCE S00°04'49"E A DISTANCE OF <br />40.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE S89°29'35"E, PARALLEL TO SAID <br />NORTH LINE, A DISTANCE OF 45.00 FEET; THENCE S00°04'49"E A DISTANCE OF 70.00 <br />FEET; THENCE N89°29'35"W, PARALLEL TO SAID NORTH LINE, A DISTANCE OF 45.00 <br />FEET; THENCE N00°04'49"W A DISTANCE OF 70.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />SAID PERMANENT GAS REGULATOR EASEMENT CONTAINS A CALCUALTED AREA OF <br />3150.2 SQUARE FEET OR 0.072 ACRES MORE OR LESS. <br />WHEREAS, such dedication of a permanent gas regulator easement has been reviewed <br />and approved by the City Legal Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, <br />authorized to dedicate said permanent gas regulator easement on the above described tract of land. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, April 13, 2021. <br />Attest: <br />gaLAmf <br />RaNae Edwards, City Clerk <br />Approved as to Form n v <br />0243 <br />April 12, 2021 c City Attorney <br />
