CT)' 0 <br />CO <br />00 <br />6 <br />40 <br />C.<3 <br />Notice of Grant Requirements <br />Platte River Whooping Crane Maintenance Trust, Inc. is the owner of a certain <br />conservation easement with legal description: <br />Ln <br />: <br />--1 <br />_. <br />—i <br />r :z -�• <br />-1, <br />N <br />,., 1 - <br />ca "J <br />Cn <br />The Northwest Quarter (NW1/4 of Section Eight (8), and Lots Three (3) and Four <br />(4) on Mainland, and the South half of the Southwest Quarter (S1/2 SW1/4) of <br />Section (5), all in the Township Nine (9) North, Range Ten (10), West of the 6th P.M., <br />in Hall County Nebraska, except Lot One (1), Martin Brothers Subdivision, Hall <br />County, Nebraska, containing approximately 380.59 acres <br />Hereafter, the "Conservation Easement". <br />Platte River Whooping Crane Maintenance Trust, Inc. acquired the Conservation <br />Easement with and as match for North American Wetlands Conservation Act funds <br />pursuant to a Grant Agreement between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Ducks <br />Unlimited, Inc. ("Central Platte Partnership II"), dated May 21, 2015, Agreement <br />Number: F15AP00437, a copy of which is kept at the Division of Bird Habitat <br />Conservation (DBHC), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 1849 C Street, NW, Washington, <br />DC 20240 and at the office of Ducks Unlimited, Inc. at 2525 River Road, Bismarck, ND <br />58503. <br />This conservation easement was acquired in order to protect valuable wetland - <br />dependent bird, wildlife, and waterfowl habitat and contains restrictions on the use and <br />development of the property that are intended to protect its conservation values. <br />Platte River Whooping Crane Maintenance Trust, Inc. hereby agrees to be bound <br />by the terms of the Grant Agreement as they relate to the Conservation Easement, <br />including the obligation to ensure the long-term conservation of the Conservation <br />Easement and to obtain the consent of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service DBHC prior to <br />the conveyance or encumbrance of any interest therein. If any interest is converted, sold, <br />conveyed, or otherwise encumbered, an attributable share may be owed to DBHC. <br />The terms of this Notice shall be binding upon Whooping Crane Maintenance <br />Trust, Inc. and its designees and successors. <br />ON 1N3WMILSNI SY 032131N3 <br />
