201903719 ORDINANCE NO. 824 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY AND INCORPORATING THE SAME WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF SHELTON, BUFFALO COUNTY, NEBRASKA. WHEREAS, the Village of Shelton in conducting its study to adopt a comprehensive development plan has evaluated the need to expand its Corporate Limits for purposes of residential and commercial development; and WHEREAS, following public input at a regular meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Shelton it has been determined that the areas set forth hereinafter are suburban or urban in character based upon best use. Be it ordained by the Village Board of the Village of Shelton, Buffalo County, Nebraska, as follows: Sec 1. ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY. There is hereby annexed to the Village of Shelton, Buffalo County, Nebraska, an incorporated within the Corporate Boundaries thereof, the real estate adjoining the present Corporate Boundaries of the Village and legally described as set forth in Exhibit A, consisting of nina iQpages, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. fotV Rt• ALL co Sec 2. NEW CORPORATE LIMITS. The corporate limits of the Village of Shelton are hereby extended and increased so as to include and embrace within the Corporate Limits of the Village of Shelton the territory described in Section 1 hereof, and such territory as hereby declared to be part of the Village of Shelton. Sec 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.
