20190047 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 55.7 <br />AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY AS SHOWN ON ANNEXATION PLAT <br />PREPARED BY JOSHUA EUGENE GAUMMERT, A PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYOR, <br />DATED FEBRUARY 1, 2018, IN THE NORTH HALF OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF <br />SECTION NINETEEN, TOWNSHIP TEN NORTH RANGE ELEVEN WEST OF THE 6 TH P.M. AND <br />A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER AND THE SOUTHEAST <br />QUARTER OF SECTION EIGHTEEN (18), TOWNSHIP TEN (10) NORTH, RANGE ELEVEN (11) <br />WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., ALL IN HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA. SAID ANNEXATION PURSUANT <br />TO NEB.REV.STAT. §17-405 ET. SEC. AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO FILE THE MAP OF <br />THE ANNEXED TERRITORY AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />OF THIS ORDINANCE <br />WHEREAS, the owner of the property located between Green Street and Wood River Road <br />and Dodd Street and Walnut Street in Wood River, Hall County, Nebraska as Shown on Annexation <br />Plat Prepared by Joshua Eugene Gaummert, A Professional Land Surveyor, dated February 1, <br />2018, in the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section Nineteen, Township Ten North Range <br />Eleven West of the 6th P.M. and a Tract of Land Located in the Southwest Quarter and the <br />Southeast Quarter of Section Eighteen (18), Township Ten (10) North, Range Eleven (11) West Of <br />The 61h P.M., all in Hall County, Nebraska filed with the City and the Regional Planning Commission <br />its' Application for Annexation of said property. <br />WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Commission on March 14, 2018 held a Public Hearing <br />and made a recommendation on the proposed annexation of such area. <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council was held on April 3, 2018 and Notice <br />mailed to all property owners within the annexed territory pursuant to NEB.REV.STAT. §19-5001 <br />and it appears that the annexation of such territory is deemed necessary for the welfare of the <br />residence and property owners of the territory and the City as a whole. <br />NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Mayor and the Council of the City of Wood River, <br />Hall County, Nebraska <br />Section One <br />By this Ordinance there is annexed to the City of Wood River, Hall County, Nebraska and <br />incorporated within the corporate boundaries of the City the following territory adjoining the present <br />corporate boundaries of the City all of the property as shown on the Annexation Plat prepared by <br />Joshua Eugene Gaummert, Licensed Professional Surveyor, dated February 11, 2018 in the North <br />Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section Nineteen, Township Ten North Range Eleven West Of The <br />6th P.M., a tract of land located in the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section <br />Eighteen (18), Township Ten(10) North, Range Eleven (11), West of the 6th P.M. all in Hall County, <br />Nebraska. <br />Section Two <br />Page 17 <br />
