AND A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER AND THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION EIGHTEEN (18), TOWNSHIP TEN (10) NORTH, RANGE ELEVEN (11) WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., ALL IN HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA. SAID ANNEXATION PURSUANT TO NEB.REV.STAT. §17-405 ET. SEC. AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO FILE THE MAP OF THE ANNEXED TERRITORY AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE WHEREAS, the owner of the property located between Green Street and Wood River Road and Dodd Street and Walnut Street in Wood River, Hall County, Nebraska as Shown on Annexation Plat Prepared by Joshua Eugene Gaummert, A Professional Land Surveyor, dated February 1, 2018, in the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section Nineteen, Township Ten North Range Eleven West of the 6th P.M. and a Tract of Land Located in the Southwest Quarter and the Southeast Quarter of Section Eighteen (18), Township Ten (10) North, Range Eleven (11) West Of The 61h P.M., all in Hall County, Nebraska filed with the City and the Regional Planning Commission its' Application for Annexation of said property. WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Commission on March 14, 2018 held a Public Hearing and made a recommendation on the proposed annexation of such area. WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council was held on April 3, 2018 and Notice mailed to all property owners within the annexed territory pursuant to NEB.REV.STAT. §19-5001 and it appears that the annexation of such territory is deemed necessary for the welfare of the residence and property owners of the territory and the City as a whole. NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Mayor and the Council of the City of Wood River, Hall County, Nebraska Section One By this Ordinance there is annexed to the City of Wood River, Hall County, Nebraska and incorporated within the corporate boundaries of the City the following territory adjoining the present corporate boundaries of the City all of the property as shown on the Annexation Plat prepared by Joshua Eugene Gaummert, Licensed Professional Surveyor, dated February 11, 2018 in the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section Nineteen, Township Ten North Range Eleven West Of The 6th P.M., a tract of land located in the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section Eighteen (18), Township Ten(10) North, Range Eleven (11), West of the 6th P.M. all in Hall County, Nebraska.
