1 <br />201900198 <br />RESOLUTION 2019-18 <br />WHEREAS, a sidewalk easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from Jared S. <br />English and Elizabeth L. Buchanan at 1221 North Beal Street, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska and <br />more particularly described as follows: <br />COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT FOUR (4), SAID POINT BEING <br />THE ACTUAL POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE EASTERLY ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT <br />FOUR (4) A DISTANCE OF 8.00 FEET; THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY TO A POINT ON THE WEST <br />LINE OF SAID LOT FOUR (4), SAID POINT BEING 8.00 FEET SOUTH OF THE NORTHWEST <br />CORNER OF SAID LOT FOUR (4); THENCE NORTHERLY ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 4, A <br />DISTANCE OF 8.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. SAID TRACT CONTAINS 31.99 <br />SQUARE FEET MORE OR LESS. <br />WHEREAS, an agreement for the sidewalk easement has been reviewed and approved by <br />the City Legal Department; and <br />WHEREAS, there is no cost for the acquisition of such easements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to <br />enter into the agreement for the sidewalk easement on the above described tract of land. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, January 8, 2019. <br />Attest: <br />RaNae Edwards, City Clerk <br />E -L >2Y <br />er G.
