201900021 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 558 <br />AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY AS SHOWN ON THE ANNEXATION PLAT <br />PREPARED BY GRUMMERT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, LLC., JOSHUA EUGENE <br />GRUMMERT, A PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYOR, DATED OCTOBER 15, 2018, LOCATED IN <br />SECTIONS TWENTY-THREE, TWENTY-FOUR, TWENTY-FIVE AND TWENTY-SIX OF <br />TOWNSHIP TEN NORTH RANGE TWELVE WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., HALL COUNTY, <br />NEBRASKA. SAID ANNEXATION IS PURSUANT TO NEB. REV. STAT. §18-3301 AND <br />DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO FILE A MAP OF THE ANNEXED TERRITORY AND PROVIDING <br />FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE <br />WHEREAS, the owner of the property located in the Northwest Quarter of Section Twenty- <br />five, Township Ten North Range Twelve West as shown on the Annexation Plat as Tract 1 prepared <br />by Grummert Professional Service, LLC., Joshua Eugene Grummert, a professional land surveyor <br />dated October 15, 2018 filed with the City and the Regional Planning Commission their application <br />for annexation of said property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Commission on November 17, 2018 held a public hearing <br />and made a recommendation on the proposed annexation of such area; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council was held on November 20, 2018 and <br />notice was mailed to all property owners within the annexed territory pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. <br />§19-5001 and it appears that the annexation of such territory is deemed necessary for the welfare of <br />the residents and property owners of the territory and the City as a whole. <br />NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Mayor and the Council of the City of Wood River, <br />Hall County, Nebraska. <br />Section One <br />By this Ordinance there is annexed to the City of Wood River, Hall County, Nebraska and <br />incorporated within the corporate boundaries of the City the following territory adjoining the present <br />corporate boundaries of the City, all of the property as shown as Tract 1 on the Annexation Plat, <br />prepared by Grummert Professional Services, LLC., Joshua Eugene Grummert, Licensed <br />Professional Surveyor, dated October 15, 2018 more particularly described as follows: <br />A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN SECTIONS 23, 24, 25, AND 26 OF TOWNSHIP 10 NORTH <br />RANGE 12 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY <br />DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br />COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 10 NORTH, <br />RANGE 12 WEST, THENCE N00°11'43"W (ASSUMED BEARING) ON THE EAST LINE OF SAID <br />SECTION 24, A DISTANCE OF 526.20 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING AND ALSO BEING <br />1 <br />
