1 <br />1 <br />RESOLUTION 2018 -235 <br />201805387 <br />WHEREAS, public right -of -way is being dedicated by Community Redevelopment <br />Authority for the City of Grand Island, Nebraska to allow for further development of the surrounding <br />area of Desert Rose Subdivision, described as follows: <br />RIGHT OF WAY CONSISTING OF PART OF A TRACT DESCRIBED AS LOT 1 OF DESERT <br />ROSE SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA AND <br />MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br />BEGINNING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 1, DESERT ROSE SUBDIVISION, <br />ALSO BEING A POINT ON THE EAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF SOUTH LOCUST STREET, <br />THENCE S89 ° 42'03 "E ALONG AND UPON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 1 A DISTANCE <br />OF 90.00', THENCE SO0 ° 17'57 "W A DISTANCE OF 70.00', THENCE N89 ° 42'03 "W A <br />DISTANCE OF 83.94' TO A POINT ON THE EAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF SOUTH <br />LOCUST STREET AND THE WEST LINE OF LOT 1, THENCE N04 ° 39'03 "W ALONG SAID <br />EAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE AND SAID WEST LINE OF LOT 1 A DISTANCE OF 70.26' TO <br />THE POINT OF BEGINNING SAID RIGHT OF WAY CONTAINS 0.14 ACRES OR 6087.81 SQ <br />FT. <br />WHEREAS, an agreement for the public right -of -way has been reviewed and <br />approved by the City Legal Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, <br />authorized to enter into the Agreement for the public right- of-way on the above described tract of <br />land. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand.
