1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />RESOLUTION 2018 -186 <br />201804264 <br />WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from A <br />0 M Machining, LLC, in Stehr's. Subdivision, City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska and more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />A PERMANENT EASEMENT BEING PART OF LOT SIX (6), STEHR'S <br />SUBDIVISION, IN THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA, <br />MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br />THE EAST EIGHT (8) FEET OF SAID LOT SIX (6), AND CONTAINING A <br />CALCULATED AREA OF ONE THOUSAND NINETY THREE AND FIFTY FIVE <br />HUNDREDTHS (1,093.55) SQUARE FEET OR TWENTY FIVE THOUSANDTHS <br />(0.025) ACRES MORE OR LESS. <br />WHEREAS, an Agreement for the public utility easement has been reviewed and <br />approved by the City Legal Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the acquisition cost of such easement has been negotiated with the <br />property owner in the amount of $350.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, <br />authorized to enter into the Agreement for the public utility easement on the above described tract of <br />land. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, June 26, 2018. <br />Attest: <br />RaNae Edwards, City Clerk <br />
