1 <br />RESOLUTION 2018 -38 <br />20180099 <br />WHEREAS, a sidewalk easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from <br />Richard A. Cash, LLC at 3704 West 13 Street, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska and more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />Referring to the Southeast Corner of said East One -Half, Thence N01 '32 "W (assumed <br />bearing) on the East line of said East One-Half; 33.00 feet to a point on the North right -of- <br />way of 13` Street, said point being the point of beginning; thence S89 "Won said <br />North right -of -way, 272.02 feet; thence N00 "W, 7.00 feet; thence N89 "E, <br />571.93 feet to a point on said East line of the East One-Half; thence S01 '32"Eon said <br />East line, 7.00 feet to the point of beginning. Containing an area of 1,903.81 square feet <br />(0.44 acres), more or less. <br />WHEREAS, an Agreement for the sidewalk easement has been reviewed and <br />approved by the City Legal Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, <br />authorized to enter into the Agreement for the sidewalk easement on the above described tract of <br />land. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, February 13, 2018. <br />Attest: <br />P ag_miA9ctf‘a. <br />RaNae Edwards, City Clerk <br />Approved as to Form <br />February 12, 2018 <br />
