RESOLUTION 2000 -149
<br />WHEREAS, on July 15, 1996, by Resolution 96 -208, the City of Grand Island
<br />approved the Westgate Sixth Subdivision Agreement by and between the City of Grand Island and
<br />Little B's Corp.; and
<br />WHEREAS, on August 19, 1996, the Westgate Sixth Subdivision Agreement was
<br />recorded in the office of the Hall County Register of Deeds; and
<br />WHEREAS, the subdivision agreement requires the installation of public sidewalks
<br />when the lots are built upon; and
<br />WHEREAS, on April 26, 1999, by Resolution 99 -139, the City of Grand Island
<br />approved a request to waive the sidewalk requirements for Lot Eight (8), Westgate Sixth
<br />Subdivision, with the provision that the sidewalks would be installed when requested to do so by the
<br />City Council; and
<br />WHEREAS, a request has recently been made to allow a waiver of the installation
<br />of sidewalk on Lots Two (2) and Seven (7), Westgate Sixth Subdivision, with the provision that such
<br />sidewalk be installed at a later date when directed to do so by the City Council.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
<br />THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the requirement to install sidewalks at 308 and
<br />309 Gold Road, also referred to as Lots Two (2) and Seven (7), Westgate Sixth Subdivision is hereby
<br />waived until such property owner is directed to do so by the City Council.
