DUFF and SUSANNE M. DUFF, Husband and Wife, GRANTORS, for <br />and in consideration of the issuance of shares to Patrick K. Duff of the common stock of The <br />Duff Roofing Company, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, convey to THE DUFF <br />ROOFING COMPANY, a Nebraska corporation, GRANTEE, the following- described real estate <br />(as defined in Neb.Rev.Stat. 76 -201) in Hall County, Nebraska: <br />Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot One (1) in Block Three (3) in West's <br />Subdivision in the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NW' /4NE'/4), <br />Section Twenty (20), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the <br />6th P.M., thence South along the East line of said Lot One (1) and, as projected, to <br />a point on the East line of Lot Five (5), Block Four (4) in said West's Subdivision, <br />which is 33.2 Feet South of the Northeast corner of said lot and which point is the <br />intersection of the East line of said Lot Five (5) with the Northerly line of the <br />property now owned by the City of Grand Island, which was condemned for <br />viaduct purposes, thence Westerly along the Northerly line of said property so <br />condemned to a point which is Six Feet West of the West line of said Block Five <br />(5), thence North along the center line of what was formerly the alley in said <br />Blocks Three (3) and Four (4), to a point Six Feet West of the Northwest corner of <br />Lot One (1) in said Block Three (3), thence East along the North line of said Lot <br />One (1) as projected Westerly, to the place of beginning; being all of Lot One (1) <br />in said Block Three (3), that part of Lot Five (5) in Block Four (4) which was not <br />condemned for viaduct purposes, one -half of the vacated alley adjoining said Lots <br />One (1) and Five (5) on the West, and that part of what was formerly Thorn Street <br />from the West line of Waldo Avenue to the center line of said alley, all in said <br />West's Subdivision in Hall County, Nebraska. <br />GRANTORS covenant with the GRANTEE that GRANTORS: <br />(1) are lawfully seised of such real estate and that it is free from <br />encumbrances; <br />(2) have legal power and lawful authority to convey the same; <br />(3) warrant and will defend the title to the real estate against the <br />lawful claims of all persons. <br />Executed this �3` ty of ?j 4AR tt .2f'- , 2000. <br />Patrick K.
