201704112 <br />deal with any bills of exchange, checks, promissory notes, or other commercial or mercantile <br />instruments. <br />12. To Do All Other Things Necessary In Connection Herewith. In general to do all <br />other acts, deeds, matters, and things whatsoever in or about my estate, property, and affairs, or to <br />concur with persons jointly interested with myself therein in doing all acts, deeds, matters, and things <br />herein, either particularly or generally described, as fully and effectually to all intents and purposes <br />as I could do in my own proper person if personally present, it being my intent to grant to my <br />attorney a general power to act for me and in my behalf, and not a limited or special power, limited <br />to the specific acts herein described. <br />13. Power Of Attorney Effective Notwithstanding Disability Of Principal; <br />Continues In Effect After Principal's Death Until Notice. Pursuant to the provisions of the <br />Nebraska Durable Powers of Attorney Act, I declare that this power of attorney shall be activated <br />by my disability or incapacity, and that the authority granted herein shall continue during any period <br />while I am disabled or incapacitated. Further, pursuant to those Sections, all such authority shall <br />continue after my death, until notice of my death shall have been received by my attorney so that she <br />has actual knowledge of the fact that I have died. Any action taken in good faith by my attorney <br />during any period while it is uncertain whether I am alive, before she receives actual knowledge of <br />my death, or, in any event, taken during any period while I am disabled or incapacitated, shall be as <br />valid as if I were alive, competent, and not disabled. <br />14. To Transfer Assets To My Revocable Living Trust. In the event I have executed <br />a revocable trust agreement, either previous to the execution of this power of attorney, or subsequent <br />to the execution thereof, my attorney shall have access to all my property and shall have full <br />authority to execute and deliver any documents which may be necessary or desirable to effect the <br />transfer to the trustee, of any part or all of my property, whether tangible or intangible, whether <br />personal or real, and wherever located. <br />15. To Execute A Revocable Living Trust And To Transfer Assets Thereto. My <br />attorney shall have full power to execute a revocable living trust in my stead. My attorney shall have <br />access to all of my property, whether tangible or intangible, whether personal or real, and wherever <br />located, and shall have full authority to execute and deliver any documents which may be necessary <br />or desirable to effect the transfer of any part or all of my property to the trustee under a revocable <br />living trust. <br />16. To Direct Trustees. To direct any Trustee who holds any sums for my benefit or at <br />my direction, to pay to or for the benefit of myself any such sums necessary to maintain myself in <br />my customary manner of living or for any other purpose the attorney believes to be for my best <br />interests. <br />17. Safety Deposit Box Access. My power of attorney shall also have the specific <br />power to access any and all safety deposit boxes that I may own and to either add or remove <br />material therefrom.
