ARTICLE VIII INCIDENTAL POWERS ARTICLE IX EXCLUDED POWERS 201608462 My Agent is authorized to supplement this instrument by adding or modifying the descriptions of any property, real or personal, which I may now or hereafter own, in whole or in part and to open, read, respond to and redirect my mail; to represent me before the U.S. Postal Service in all matters relating to mail service; to establish, cancel, continue or initiate my membership in organizations and associations of all kinds, to take and give or deny custody of all of my important documents, including but not limited to my will, codicils, trust agreements, deeds, leases, life insurance policies, contracts and securities and to disclose or refuse to disclose such documents; to obtain and release or deny information or records of all kinds relating to me, any interest of mine or to any person for whom I am responsible. My Agent shall not change the beneficiary of any policy or policies of life insurance or retirement, profit sharing plan or employee benefit of which I am the insured, employee - beneficiary or owner, nor shall my Agent exercise any general power of appointment or power to amend, revoke, alter, or terminate granted or reserved to me pursuant to any trust agreement. My Agent shall otherwise be authorized in general to do all other acts, deeds, matters, and things whatsoever in or about my estate, property and affairs or to concur with persons jointly interested with myself therein in doing all acts, deeds, matters and things herein, either particularly or generally described, as fully and effectually for all intents and purposes as I could do in my own proper person if personally present, it being my intent to otherwise grant to my Agent a general power to act for me and in my behalf, and not a limited or special power, limited to the specific acts herein described provided that my Agent shall be prohibited (except as otherwise authorized in this instrument) from (a) appointing, assigning or designating any of my assets, interests or rights directly or indirectly to my Agent's creditors, or the creditors of my Agent's estate; and (b) using my assets to discharge any of my Agent's legal obligations, including any obligation of support which my Agent may owe to others (excluding those whom I am equally with my Agent legally obligated to support). ARTICLE X ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS 1. Liability. My Agent shall not be liable to me or any of my successors in interest for any action taken or not taken in good faith, but shall be liable for any willful misconduct or gross negligence. 2. Compensation. My Agent shall be entitled to reasonable compensation for services performed hereunder and shall be reimbursed for all reasonable expenses paid by my Agent. 3. Signature of Agent.
