<br /> 71� Hazardaus5ub�tances.As used��.this Section 21; �a} "�aza�dous�5u�.�ta�ce,�"are those substances
<br /> defined as toxic or hazardous substances,pollutants,or wast�s by En�ironmental Law and the fallowing
<br /> substances:gasol�ne,kerosene,other flarnmable or�axic petro�eum pr�duets,toxic pesticides and h�rb�cides,
<br /> volatil�e sol�aents, rr��.t��ials car�tain�ng asb�s�fls or fo�rmaldeh�de, and�radioactiv�material�; �b}
<br /> "Er�viro�rrae�tal Lavv"means federallaws and laws of the jurisdiction vvhere the Property is��cated that
<br /> relat�to health, safety or enviranmental protectian; �c} "Er�viro►�►ne�ctal�'lea�up"inc��des any response
<br /> a��ion,�em�dial�ction, or�en�oval action, as defin�d in Environmenta�i�aw; and�d�}an 'rE�vi�a�rrtentat
<br /> Car�dxtio�"m�an.s a conditifln that can cause,contribute t�, or otherwise trigger an Environmenta�Cleanup.
<br /> Borrotver shall not cause or permit the pres�nce,use,disposal, storage,or release af any Hazardous
<br /> Substances,or threaten to r�lease any Hazardous SubstanGes,on or in the Property. Borrower shall not da,
<br /> nar allow anyone else to do,anything affecting the Property(a�that�s in v�olation of any Environmenta�
<br /> Law, �b)which creates an En�ironmentai Gondrtian,or�e}which,due to the presence,use�or release of a
<br /> Hazardous Substance,creates a condition tha�adverse�y affe�ts the value af the Proper�y.The preceding two
<br /> sentences shal�not apply ta the presence,use,ar storage�n t�e Proper�y of sma11 quantit�es of Hazardous
<br /> Substances that are generally recognized to be a�ppropria�e�fl normal residential uses and to maintenance of
<br /> the Property�inc�uding,but not lir�ited to,hazardou�substances in c�nsumer products}.
<br /> $orrawer sha11 promptly gi�e Lender written notice of�a}any in�estigation,claim,demand, lawsuit or other
<br /> ac�ian by any go�ernmenta�or regulatory agency or pri�ate party invalving the Property and any Hazardous
<br /> Substance ar Enviranmental Law�f which Bonower has actual knowledge, �b)any Environmen�l
<br /> Condition, including but not limited to,any spilling, leaking,discharge,release or threat of release af any
<br /> Hazardous Substa.nce,and�c)any candition caused�y the presence,use or release of a Hazardous Substance
<br /> which adversely affects the vaiue nf the Property. If Bonow�r�earns,or is notified by any governmenta�or
<br /> regulatory authority,or any pri�ate par�y,that any removal or other remediation of any Hazardous Substance
<br /> affecting the Property is necessar�,Borrawer shall pr�mptly take all neeessary remedial actions in
<br /> accorda�ce with Environmenta�La�v.Nothing herein shall create any ob�igatian on Len�er for an
<br /> Envuonmentai C�eanup.
