DACA45 -2 -00 -6022 The grantee to whom the easement is transferred or any subsequent transferee, shall have no claim on account of any such interference against the United States or any officer, agent, employee or contractor thereof. 23. JOINT GRANTEES The'obligations of said grantees herein named shall be joint and several obligations. 24. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING The Department of the Army will maintain operational control over those portions of the drainage channel situated between Eighth Street and the northern boundary of the Installation until the extraction, treatment and discharge of groundwater is discontinued by the government. The grantee shall strictly adhere to the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant (CARP), Environmental Protection Agency, Region VII (EPA), Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality, and the Central Platte Natural Resources District concerning the monitoring and evaluating of discharge from the Operable Unit #1 Treatment Facility into the on -post drainage canals and Silver Creek; a copy of said memorandum is attached hereto and made apart hereof as Exhibit "B ". THIS EASEMENT is not subject to Title 10, United States Code, Section 2662, as amended.
