1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />RESOLUTION 2016-124 <br />20 1603728 <br />1WH EREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from <br />Hall County Livestock Improvement Association, in the Southwest Quarter of Section 22, Township <br />11N, Range 9W, City of Grand Island, Hall. County, Nebraska and more particularly described as <br />follows: <br />A '.P'UBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT' BEING FART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION <br />TWENTY-TWO (22), TOWNSHIP ELEVEN (11) NORTH, RANGE NINE (9) WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., <br />HALL 'COUNTY, NEBRASKA AND MORE PARTICULARLY :DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br />COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF A TRACT OF LAND RECORDED AS EXHIBIT <br />"A " IN INSTRUMENT #87106012 IN THE HALL COUNTY NEBRASKA REGISTER OF' DEEDS OFFICE; <br />THENCE EASTERLY, ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID EXHIBIT "A ", A DISTANCEE OF 6.96 FEET TO <br />THE EASTERLY LINE OF .AN E.X:ISTIN( PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT AS RECORDED IN <br />INSTRUMENT #200316339 TN SA7[J) HALL COUNTY NEBRASKA REGISTER OF DEEDS OFFUCE; <br />THENCE SOUTHERLY, ON TEE EASTERLY LINE OF SAID EXISTING PUBLIC UTILITY <br />EASEMENT, A DISTANCE OF 216.30 'FEET' TO A POINT ON THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF AN <br />EXISTING :INGRESS/EGRESS EASEMENT AS RECORDED IN INSTRUMENT #201002121 IN SAID <br />HALL COUNTY NEBRASKA REGISTER OIF DEEDS OFFICE; SAID POINT BEING THE ACTUAL <br />POINT 01' BEGINNING; THENCE EASTERLY, ON THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID EXISTING <br />INGRESS/ EGRESS EASEMENT, A DISTANCE OE' 25.00 FEET; THENCE SOUTHERLY, PARALLEL <br />WITH THE EASTERLY LENE OF SAID EXISTING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT, A DISTANCE OF <br />25.00 FEET; THENCE WESTERLY, PARALLEL WITH[ THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID EXISTING <br />INGRESS/ EGRESS EASEMENT, A. DISTANCE OF 25.00 FEET TO A POINT ON THE EASTERLY LINE <br />OF SAID :EXISTING PUBLIC UTILTI'Y EASEMENT; THENCE NORTHERLY, ON THE EASTERLY <br />LINE OF SAID EXISTING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT, A DISTANCE OF 25.00 FEET TO THE <br />POINT OF EEGINNING. SAID NEWLY DEDICATED 'UTILITY EASEMENT TRACT CONTAINS A <br />CALCULATED AREA OF 0.0143 ACRES MORE OR LESS. <br />INTIEREAS, an Agreement for the public utility easement has been reviewed and <br />approved by the City Legal .Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 13Y THE MAYOR ANI) COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,.
