200003068 <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) AFFIDAVIT FOR TRANSFER OF <br />) § REAL ESTATE WITHOUT <br />COUNTY OF SAN MATEO ) ESTATE ADMINISTRATION <br />The ardersigned Affiant upon being first duly sworn, deposes and states: <br />1. Norman Prince Rief died October 5, 1999, at 78 years of age and a resident of <br />San Mateo County, California. His wife, Irma B. Rief is his surviving spouse. <br />2. The value of the Decedent's interest in all real property in the Decedent's <br />estate located in the state of Nebraska does not exceed $25,000. His only interest in real <br />estate in the state of Nebraska is the North half of Lot 39, Block D, Parkview <br />Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />3. Thirty days have elapsed since the death of the Decedent as shown in a <br />certified death certificate attached hereto. <br />4. No application or petition for the appointment of a personal representative is <br />pending or has been granted in any jurisdiction. <br />5. The claiming successor, Irma B. Rief, is entitled to the real property by reason <br />of the homestead allowance, exempt property allowance and family allowance, by <br />intestate succession from the Decedent, her husband, Norman P. Rief. <br />6. The claiming successor has made an investigation and knows of her own <br />knowledge that the Decedent did not leave a Last Will and Testament. <br />7. No other person has a right to the interest of the Decedent in the described <br />property. <br />8. The claiming successor's relationship to the Decedent is that of surviving <br />spouse and the value of the entire estate of the Decedent is not sufficient for the creation <br />of any federal estate tax or state death tax by reason of the marital deduction. <br />
