ORDINANCE NO. 445 <br />20/600320 <br />An Ordinance of the Village of Cairo, Hall County, Nebraska, pertaining to annexation; to extend <br />the boundaries and include within the corporate limits of, and to annex to the Village of Cairo, Nebraska, <br />a tract of land in the North Half (N %2) of Section Nineteen (19), Township Twelve (12) North, Range <br />Eleven (11), West of the 6 P.M., in Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described herein; which <br />tract is located north of and including Nebraska Highway 2, west of and including 130 Road and south <br />of and including One R Road; which tract is a proposed business park for the Village of Cairo; to provide <br />service benefits thereto; to confirm zoning classifications; to repeal any ordinance or resolution or parts <br />of such in conflict herewith; to provide for publication in pamphlet form and to provide the effect date <br />hereof. <br />WHEREAS, after public hearing on November 10, 2015, the Board of Trustees found and <br />determined that such annexation should be approved; and <br />WHEREAS, such Ordinance was approved on first reading on November 10, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, such Ordinance was approved on second reading on November 17, 2015. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRPERSON AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF CAIRO, <br />NEBRASKA; <br />SECTION 1. It is hereby found and determined that: <br />(A) The Regional Planning Commission of Hall County, Nebraska, after public hearing and notice <br />on October 7, 2015, recommended approval of the annexation; <br />(B) That the tract of land located in the North Half (N %) of Section Nineteen (19), Township <br />Twelve (12) North, Range Eleven (11), West of the 6 P.M., in Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly <br />described herein; which tract is located north of and including Nebraska Highway 2, west of and <br />including 130 Road and south of and including One R Road; which tract is a proposed business park for <br />the Village of Cairo; is urban and suburban in character and not agricultural and rural in charter, and that <br />the subject property is contiguous and adjacent to the corporate limits of said Village. <br />(C) That the subject real estate will receive material benefits and advantages including police, <br />fire, emergency services, street maintenance and snow removal benefits due to annexation to the <br />Village of Cairo, Nebraska and that Village water and sanitary service will be available as provided by <br />law. <br />(D) The zoning classification of the subject tract of land shown on the official zoning map of the <br />Village of Cairo, Nebraska, is hereby confirmed. <br />(E) There is a unity of interest in the said tract of land with the use of lots and streets in the <br />Village of Cairo and the community convenience and welfare and in the interest of said Village will be <br />
