<br /> �1. Hazardaus Substances. As used in this Section�1: �a} "Hazardous Su�stances" are those
<br /> subs�an�es def�ned as toxic or hazardaus suhs�anc�s,pol�u�an�s,or�vastes by Envir�nmental Law and
<br /> . the f�ll.awing suhstances:gas��ine,l�erosene,flther flarnmab�e or tox�c petroleum pr.oducts,toKic p�sticides

<br /> ��} "En�rr�nmenta�La�" means federal laws and laws �f�he jurisdic�ifln where the�'roperty is �o�a�ed
<br /> �aat re�ate�o hea�th, saf��y or enWir�nmenta�pratect��n; ��) "Environmen�al�Ieanup" inc�udes any
<br /> response actiion,remedia�ac�ion, or rem�val actxon,as defined in En�ironl�nen�al LavW; and�d}an
<br /> "En�ironmental Gond�tion"means a cflndi�ion that can cause,c�ntribute to, or n#h�rwise trigger an
<br /> En�ar�nmen�a��leanup.
<br /> Borr�w�r shall not caus�or permit the presence,use,disposal, storage,or re�ease�f any Hazardous
<br /> Substances,or threat�n to release any Hazardous Substances,an�r i�the Pr�pert�. Barrow�r shall not
<br /> do,nor allow anyane else to da,anything affec��ng�,he Property�a}tha��s in�iotation af any�n�ironrnental
<br /> Law, �b�whi�h creates ar�Envirorunen�a�C�ndi.tion,ar�c}whi��a,due ta the presence, use,or release�f
<br /> a Ha�ard�us Subs�ance,crea�es a condi��on tha�adverse�y affects the�alue of the Properxy,The preceding
<br /> �wo sentences shal.l nvt apply to the presence,use,gr stora�e on th�Pr�p�rty af smali quantities aF
<br /> Hazardous Substanc�s�ha�are general�y recogn�zed tfl be appropria�e to normal residentiai us�s and�o

<br /> ather action by an�g�vernmental or regulatory agency flr prxvate par�y involving th�Property and any
<br /> Hazardous Substanc�vr Environrnenta�Law of which Borr��ver has ac�ual�i�wled�e, �b} any
<br /> Environmen�a��on�ition,including but na�Izmited ta,any spa�ling,l�ak�ng,discharge,r��ease or threat
<br /> �f release af any Hazardous Substance,and�c}any conditifln caused by�he presence,use or re�ease of
<br /> a Hazardvus Substance u�hich ad�verse�y affe��s the�a�ue of�he Proper�y.Tf Barr��ver learns,or�s n�tified
<br /> by any ga�ernrnenta�or regulatory authori�y,or any priva�e party,�hat any remova�or�ther remediation
<br /> of any Ha2ardous Su�astance aff�c�ing the Praper�y is necessary,Barrower sha�l prornptly take a�i necessary
<br /> remedial actians in acc�rdance wi�h En�iron.mental Law.�T�thing herein sl�all create any ob�igatian on
<br /> Lender for an Environmental C1�anup.
