6.1 Home Address. <br />ARTICLE 6 <br />GENERAL STANDARDS <br />201503252 <br />Upon move -in, each Residence shall have the address placed on the side of the home <br />facing the street at which the home is addressed, and such address must be visible from the <br />street. The DRC may establish standards for the style, quality, and position of the numbers for <br />such addresses. Missing numbers shall be replaced immediately. Plants, shrubs, and trees shall <br />be trimmed to allow clear view of the numbers. <br />6.2 Registration by Owner of Mailing Address. <br />Each Owner shall register his mailing address with the Association, and all notices, <br />statements, or demands intended to be served upon an Owner shall be deemed delivered when <br />deposited in the United States mail, postage prepaid, addressed in the name of the Owner to such <br />registered mailing address. If an Owner fails to register a different address, such Owner's <br />registered address shall be deemed to be the address of the Lot owned by such Owner that is <br />subject to this Declaration. <br />6.3 Advertising and Solicitation. <br />Advertising, soliciting, or delivering or posting handbills on the Property by any Owner <br />or other person is prohibited. Declarant and the Association, however, reserve the right to <br />communicate with the Owners through the distribution or posting of handbills or other written <br />materials. <br />6.4 Snow Removal. <br />The City of Grand Island will be responsible for plowing of snow in the dedicated streets <br />of the Property. All other snow and ice removal, including without limitation snow and ice <br />removal on driveways, sidewalks, steps, and patios on each Lot is the responsibility of the <br />Owner. Shoveling or blowing snow into the street is prohibited. <br />6.5 Sunscreens. <br />DRC approval is not required for sunscreens, provided that the frames are the color of the <br />body of the Residence and the screen color is black, dark brown, or charcoal. <br />6.6 Rain Gutters. <br />Rain gutters must be added to Residences to prevent erosion of landscaped areas. All <br />gutter installations must be configured to an appropriate roof drainage plan for the specific <br />Residence and elevations. In addition, they must blend or match the body color of the home <br />where attached. Drainage shall not be discharged onto adjacent Lots. <br />Page 35 of 69 <br />
