PO Box 499 Columbus, NE 68602 -0499 Nebraska Public Power District ASSIGNMENT OF EASEMENT FOR ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION LINE That Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD), a public corporation and political subdivision of the State of Nebraska, in consideration of the terms and conditions of the Sale of Facilities Agreement between NPPD and Southern Power District, a public corporation and political subdivision of the State of Nebraska, effective December 30, 2014, and the benefits to accrue to both parties set forth therein, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby sell, assign, and transfer unto Southern Power District, and its successors and assigns, all of its right, title and interest in and to NPPD's Easement for Electric Transmission Line, which is recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds in Hall County, Nebraska, as Instrument No. 0200707865 on September 12, 2007, on the following described real estate: An easement area being a strip of land for an electric transmission line, over, under, upon and across a portion of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 9 North, Range 12 West of the 6 P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, said strip of land is 10 feet in width and is described as follows: the south 10 feet of the North 43 feet of the West 222 feet of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter containing 2220 square feet (0.05 acres), more or less. The approximate centerline location of the electric transmission line will be 35 feet south of the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, and 2 feet south of the south right -of -way line of a county road along the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, within the easement area. Together with: An easement area being a strip of land, for the anchoring purposes, over, under, upon and across a portion of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 9 North, Range 12 West of the 6 P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, said strip of land is 10 feet in width, being parallel with and 10 feet east of a reference line, (the reference line is the west sideline of said strip of land and coincident with a portion of the east right -of -way line of a county road along the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter), said reference line is described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the east right -of -way line of a county road along the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter with the south sideline of the above described easement area for an electric transmission line at a location 43 feet south of the north line and 33 feet east of the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence south parallel with and 33 feet east of the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 67 feet to the point of termination of said reference line. The left sideline of said strip of land is lengthened or shortened to begin on the south sideline of the above described easement area for the electric transmission line and to end perpendicular to the reference line at the point of termination. Said strip of land contains 670 square feet, more or less. The anchors are to be located approximately 35 feet east of the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, and 2 feet east of the east right -of -way line of a county road along the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, within the easement area.
