2. The Property is leased from Conestoga Mall by Best <br />Buy Stores L.P., a Virginia limited Partnership ( "Best Buy "). <br />3. Callan makes this affidavit and gives this notice and <br />claim to mechanic's lien on behalf of Claimant, based upon his <br />own personal knowledge and upon the records and other materials <br />in Claimant's possession of which he has knowledge and control. <br />4. Pursuant to Claimant's written contract with Best <br />Buy Purchasing LLC, an owned and controlled affiliate and agent <br />of Best Buy, Plaintiff supplied materials and labor to install, repair <br />and replace commercial signage (i.e., improvements to the <br />Property). Such services and materials were last furnished on <br />August 5, 2014. <br />5. National Retail and Best Buy each consented to and <br />authorized the work and materials provided by Claimant which <br />resulted in improvements to the Property. <br />6. The Property is more particularly described in <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />7. A just and true Statement of Account, with all <br />credits given, of the debt due for labor and materials furnished <br />indicates a balance due and owing to Claimant in the amount of <br />$3,135.50. <br />8. The Property is commercial real estate and involves <br />construction under a direct contract between the Claimant and the <br />owner of the Property (or its agent). <br />9. Claimant's address is 1418 Elmhurst Road, Elk <br />Grove Village, IL 60007. <br />10. Claimant has made demand for the above <br />referenced sum upon Best Buy, but claimant has not been paid, and <br />therefore gives notice of this lien as a valid and subsisting charge <br />against National Retail's right, title and interest in the Property and <br />also against the Best Buy's right, title and interest in the Property <br />23243428.1\143150 -00010 <br />201407360 <br />
