WHEREAS, Upon January, 17, 1893, Orrison Davis and <br /> Nancy M.Davis, husband and wife, made and executed a note to the Bank of Commerce of Grand <br /> Island, Nebraska, in the sum of Eight Hundred fifty dollars ($850.00) with interest at six <br /> per cent per annum payable January 1st, 1898, at Hanover National Bank, New York, City, <br /> which note was secured by a mortgage upon the property hereinafter described. <br /> And Whereas, upon the 27th day of January, 1893, the above described note and mart- <br /> gage which had been duly recorded in Book 21, of Mortgages at 88 of the Records of Hall <br /> County, Nebraska, was assigned by the said Bank of Commerce to Mrs. Mary Blair of Newton <br /> Sussex County, New Jersey, which assignment was duly recorded in Book 10 of Assignments at <br /> page 464 of the Records of Hall County, Nebraska, a valuable consideration being paid the- <br /> refore by the said Mrs. Mary Blair. <br /> AND WHEREAS upon November 4, 1895, the said Mary Blair sold and assigned for a valu- <br /> able consideration the said note and the mortgage securing the same upon the property <br /> hereinafter described to Sarah P.Adams, which assignment was duly recorded in Book 10, of <br /> assignments at page 465 of the Records of Hall County, Nebraska, <br /> NOW THEREFORE in consideration of the payment of the debt named therein, the said <br /> Sarah P.Adams, assignee does hereby release the said mortgage of Eight Hundred fifty dollars <br /> ($850.00) upon the following described property, to wit:- Commencing at the North east <br /> corner of the North west quarter (N.W.*) of Section twenty-two (22) Township Eleven (il) <br /> north, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M. running thence west on the north line of Section <br /> twenty-two (22) four hundred forty-five and ome half (4451) feet, thence south and parallel <br /> with the half section line nine hundredAtwo feet (992), thence and parallel with the north <br /> boundry line of said section twenty-two (22) four hundred forty-five and one half feet <br /> (4450 thence north on the half section line of said section nine hundred t feet (992) <br /> to the place of beginning, containing ten and fourteenth one hundredths acres either more <br /> or less, which mortgage was made by Orrison Davis and Nancy U.Davis, husband and wife, and <br /> was recorded Book twenty-one (21) of Mortgages at page 88 of the records of Hall County, <br /> State of Nebraska, <br /> Witness my hand this 26th day of May, 1911. <br /> In the presence of Sarah P.Adams <br /> Jack H.Lockhart . <br />
