<br /> ASSIGNMENT OF MORTGAGE: THE CLARKE-BUCHANAN COMPANY, of the County of Adams and State of
<br /> Nebraska, for value received, hereby sells and assigns all its right, and interest in a
<br /> certain mortgage, together with the debt secured thereby without recourse, to Jennette
<br /> P. Stone, of Worcester County, Massachusetts, said mortgage bearing date the first day
<br /> of June, 1909, executed by Stephen Woodford Binfield, widower, and being a first mort-
<br /> gage to said Clarke-Buchanan Company made to secure the payment of One Thousand 00
<br /> Dollars, and on the followingdescribed real estate, in the Countyof Hall and State of
<br /> Nebraska, to-wit: The North-east Quarter (4) of the South-West Quarter (-') and the
<br /> north-west quarter (4) of the South-east quarter (*) of Section Twenty-three (23) in
<br /> Township Nine (9) , North, of range eleven (11) , West of the 6" P. M. and recorded in the
<br /> IIoffice of the Register of Deeds of the County of Hall in the State of Nebraska, in book
<br /> 37 of Mortgages, at page 153 on the 21st day of June, A.D.1909.
<br /> In Witness Whereof, the Clarke-Buchanan Company has caused this instrument to be
<br /> signed by its President and Treasurer, and attested by its corporate seal, this 6th day
<br /> of September, 1909.

<br /> me the undersigned Notary Public, duly appointed, qualified and acting within and for
<br /> said Adams County, personally came THE CLARKE-BUCHANANiMPANY, by James N. Clarke, Pre-
<br /> sident, and W. F. Buchanan, Treasurer of the same, who are personally known to be the
<br /> identical corporation, persons and officers who signed the foregoing assignment, and
<br /> they and each of them acknowledged the execution of said instrument to be the voluntary
<br /> act and deed of said corboration and their voluntary act as President and Treasurer re-
<br /> spectively of the same, and that the corporate seal of said corporation was thereto
<br /> affixed by its authority.
<br /> In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and official seal, the day and
<br /> date last above written.

<br /> II ASSIGNMENT: FOR VALUE received, the Vermont Savings Bank, of Brattleboro, Vermont,
<br /> hereby assigns, without recourse on it , unto F. E. Slusser, of Hall County, Nebr. all
<br /> its right, title and interest to the certain mortgage, and the indebtedness secured
<br /> thereby, made by John Smithwick and wife to the Central Loan & Trust Company, dated
<br /> November 11, 1889, and subsequently assigned to this grantor, which said mortgage is
<br /> recorded in book 13, on page 417, and extended by contract recorded in Book K, on page
<br /> 375, of the records of Hall. County, Nebraska.
<br /> Witness our hands and seal this 11" day of May, 1904.
