<br /> 1963, on the petition of Inez C. Ward for a determination of
<br /> inheritance tax and the QvidQnce� the petitioner being present
<br /> in Court and represQnted by counsel and the Court having heatd
<br /> the evidence and being fully advised in the premises finds: �
<br /> l. The County Attorney oF Howard County� Nebrastca, an� theo
<br /> County Attorney of Ha11 County, Nebraska, have both executed in
<br /> writing a tdaic►er of the service af any formal notice of hearing
<br /> for the deteraination of inheritance tax to shoa► cause, a waiver
<br /> of the seruic� of any formal notice of the time and p]_aeQ of such
<br /> hearing, and Voluntary Appearances in this proceeding in behalf
<br /> of the County of Howard and the County of Hall and the State of ,
<br /> Nebraska each of vnhict� was filed herein on May �, 1963, and
<br /> May �, 1963; the only person against �ahom an inh�ritance taxx
<br /> may be assessed is the petitioner; that all persons interested
<br /> in this �roceeding are before the court; that All notices in this
<br /> proceeding are dispensed; and the court proceeds aithout delay
<br /> to make a determination of inheritance tax, if any, �ue on account
<br /> of the groperty described in the petition.
<br /> 2. Harry R. Ward died in Noward County, Nebraska on
<br /> November 24, 1962, being at said time a resident af Howazd Ccunty,
<br /> iVebraslca; that the petitioner is the surviving spouse of said
<br /> deceased; that at the time of his death said deceased was not
<br /> possessed of any pzoperty subj�ct to administration in tho ststo
<br /> of Nebraska, but was the owner, together with petitioner as joint
<br /> tenants, of the following described proparty:---
<br /> (a) Lot Seven (7) and the East Three-fourths (B-3/4)
<br /> of Lot 5ix (6), in Block Twelve (12), Bartlett's
<br /> Adciition to the City of St. Paul� Howard County,
<br /> NeUraska� as surveyed, platted and recorded,
<br /> locatad At 1216 J Street, which property at the
<br /> time of the death of the deceased was of the fair
<br /> �nd reasonable market value of $13,000.00.
<br /> (b) Lot Ten (10), in Block Eiqhty-five (85), in
<br /> Wheeler & Bennett's Fourth Addition to the City �
<br /> of Grand Island� Hall Caunty� Nebraska, located at
<br /> 1510 North Pine Street and also located at 10.4
<br /> West 15th Street, whiah pzoperty at �che time of theg
<br /> death of the deeeased was of the fair and reasonable
<br /> market value of $22,000.00.
<br /> 3. The consideration furnishQd by the said surviving joint
<br /> tenant to the above described �ointly owned real estate was the
<br /> sum or $17,500.00; the surviving spouse, Inez C. Ward, paid the
<br /> funeral and burial e�enses totaling $1,160.00, and the last '
<br /> illnQss Qxpenses totalinq $165.37, and the further� sum of $1,365.00,
<br /> being the valua of the homestQad iaterest of the surviving spouse,
