<br /> An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 954; defining the boundaries of
<br /> the district; providing £or the improvement of a street within the district by paving,
<br /> curbing, guttering, and all incidental work ia connection therewith; and providing £or an

<br /> ' effective dace of this ozdinance.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY TEiE MAYOR AND COUNCIZ OF THE CITY OF CRAND ZSLAND, NESRASKA:
<br /> ' SECTION 1. Street Zmprovement Discrict No. 954 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br /> � is hereby created.
<br /> SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows:
<br /> Beginning on the section line is Saint Paul Road at a point 183.4 feet, or 55.9
<br /> meters, more or less, north of the north line of 20ch Streec; thence running south
<br /> on the section line in Saint Paul Road for a distance of 383.4 feet, or 116.86
<br /> meters, to a point 140 feet, or 42.672 mecers, south of the south Line of 20th
<br /> '� � � Street; thence runnin� west on a line being parallel to and 140 feet, or 42.672
<br /> 3 � W meters, south of the souch line of 20th Streec, for a distance of 213 feec, or
<br /> � � � � 64.922 mecers, to the southwest corner of Lot One (1) in Geer Subdivision for a
<br /> b � � distance of 25 feet, or 7.62 meters, co a point 115.00 feet, or 35.052 mecers,
<br /> � o ¢ souch of the souch line of 20th Screet; thence running westerly on a line for a
<br /> �-+ W distance of 1,205 feet, or 367.284 mecers, more or less, co a poirc on a line 3
<br /> >- o £eet, or 0.914 meter, east of the west line of Loc 26 in Geer Subdivision, said
<br /> �� � Q point also being 118.4 feet, or 36.088 meters, more or less, south of the south
<br /> � W Iine of 20ch Screet; thence running nor[h on the south prolongation of the west
<br /> � line of Illinois Avenue and on the west line of Illinois Avenue for a distance
<br /> , of 261.8 feet, or 79_797 meters, to a point 183.4 fcet, or 55.9 meters, nor[h of
<br /> the north line of 20ch Street; thence running easc on a line parallel co and
<br /> 183_4 £eet, or 55.9 meters, north of the north line of 20th Stree[ for a distance
<br /> of 1,418 feet, or 432.206 meters, to the section line in Saint Paul Road, being
<br /> the poinc of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibic "A" atcached hereto
<br /> • and incorporated herein by reference. •
<br /> ' SECTION 3. The following streec in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, :
<br /> ? guttering, and all incidental work in connection therecoith:
<br /> 2taentieth Street from the west line of Saint Paul Road to the west line of•
<br /> Illinois Avenue going north of Twencieth Street.
<br /> � Said improvementa shall be made in aceordance wich plans and specifications pzepared by the
<br /> i
<br /> "t Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council.
<br /> SECTION 4.. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding
<br /> intezsections, ahall be asseased upon the lots aad lands in the district apecially benefitted
<br /> as pzovided by law.
<br /> ` • • SECTION 5. Ttsis ordinance shall be in £orce and take effect from and after its passage,
<br /> ;
<br /> approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law.
<br /> • SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office
<br /> ' of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska.
<br /> SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of th¢
<br /> ' creation of said diatrict shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal
<br /> i
<br /> i' newspaper published and o£ general circulation ia said City, as provided by law.
