<br /> An ordinance creacing Street Improvement District No, 921; defining the boundaries of
<br /> the district; pzovid3ng for the improvement of a street within the diatrict by paving, curbing,
<br /> guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and providing an effective date
<br /> ' of this ordinance. "
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOP. AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
<br /> ' SECTZON 1_ Street Improvement District No. 921 in the City of Grand Zsland, Nebraska,
<br /> is hereby created.
<br /> SECTION 2_ The boundaries of the district shall be as follows:
<br /> Beginniag on the easterly line of Cedar Street at a poinc 148 feet, or 45.11 '
<br /> metera, southerly of the southerly line of 4th Street; thence running southerly
<br /> on the easterly Zine of Cedar Street and its southerly prolongation for a distance
<br /> of 304 feet, or 92.659 meters, to a point 172 feet, or 52.426 meters, southerly
<br /> of the easterly prolongation of the norcherly line of North Front Street; thence
<br /> running westerly on a line parallel to and 172 feet, or 52.426 meters, southerly
<br /> of the northerly Line of North Front Street Eor a distance of 344 feet, or 104.851
<br /> metera, to the southerly porlongacion of the easterly line of Elm Street; thence
<br /> running northerly on the southerly porlonRation of the easterly line of Elm Street,
<br /> and on the easterly line of Elm Street for a distance of 304 feet, or 92.659
<br /> meters, to a point 148 £eet, or 45.11 meters, southerly of the soutrierly line of
<br /> 4th Street; thence running easterly on a line parallel to and 132 feet, or 40.234
<br /> meters, northerly of the northerly line of Nortti Front Street and its easterly
<br /> prolongation for a distance of 344 feet, or 104_851 meters, to the point of
<br /> beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
<br /> incorporated herein by reference.
<br /> SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be itnproved by paving, curbing,
<br /> guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith:
<br /> North Front Street from the easterly line of Elm Street to the easterly line of
<br /> Cedar Street.
<br /> Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the
<br /> Engi.neer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council.
<br /> SECTION 4_ The improvements ahall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding
<br /> intersectiona, shall be assesaed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited
<br /> as provided by law.
<br /> SECTION S. This ordinance shall be in £orce and take effect From and after its pAasage,
<br /> approval, and pvblication, without the plat, as provided by law,
<br /> SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, 3s hereby directed to be filed in the office
<br /> of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska.
<br /> SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the
<br /> creation of eaid district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal
<br /> aewspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
