<br /> An ordinance to �xtend the bou�darics and include within the corporate limits of, and
<br />; to annex to, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, certain contiguous lands in the Eaet Half
<br /> (E}) of Section Fourteen (14j, Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th
<br /> P.M.; to provide for service benefits thereto; to provide eeverability; and to confirm the
<br /> zoning classification thereof; to provide for filing with the Register of Deeds; and to
<br /> provide the e£fective date. �
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY TF{E MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
<br /> � SECTION 1. It is hereby fonnd and determined by such City Council that:
<br /> (a) The tracta of land in the East Half (E;) of Section Fourteen (14),
<br /> Townahip Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M., Aall Councy,
<br /> � Nebraska, as hereinafter more particularly described, are contiguous and ad,jacent
<br /> to the corporate limits of such city and are urban and auburban in character, not
<br /> agrieultural land rural in character; •
<br /> (b) Police, fire, and show removal benefits are available thereto; city �+ater
<br /> eervice and city sewer service will be available as provided by law.
<br /> (c) The zoning classificacion of such Iand as sho�.rn or� the of£icial zoning
<br /> map of the City of Grand island, Nebraska, is hcreby confirmed;
<br /> (d) There is a unity of interest in [he use of such tracta of land with the
<br /> uae of lots, lands, atreets, and highways in the City, and the communicy convenience
<br /> and welfare and the interest of such City will be enkanced through incorporating such
<br /> lands vai[hin the corporate limits of auch City. •�
<br /> SECTION 2. That the boundaries of tt�e City of Grand Island, Nebraska, be, and hereby
<br /> are, extended to include within the corporate limits of such City the contiguous and adjacent
<br /> traces of land in the East Half (E§) oE Section Fourtcen (14), Township Eleven (11) r?orth,
<br /> Range Niae (9) West of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly desczibed as
<br /> follows: •
<br /> Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot Thirty-two (32) in Industrial Addition
<br /> to tha Ciiy of Grand Island, Nebraska; thence running east on a line sixty-six
<br /> (66) fcet, or 20.117 meCers, norCh of and parallel to the nozch line of the
<br /> Southeast Quarter (SEr) af said Section Fourteen (14) for a distance of seven
<br /> hundred and nine-tenths (700.9) feet, or 213.634 meters, more or 1ess, to a point
<br /> six hundred twenty-four (624) feet, or I90.195 meters, west of the e�sC Line of
<br /> said Seetion Pourteen (14); chence runnin� south on a line six hundred twenty-iour
<br /> � Z (624) feet, or 213.634 meters, west of and parallel to the ease line of said
