WHEREAS, it hae been determined that thera is no need for the existing easement, and that it should, there£ore, be vacated; BE IT ORDRINEII BY THE MAYOR AND CQUNCIL OF TfiE CITY OF GR4ND ISLAND, NEBRRSKA: SECTION 1. That the following deacribed easement be, and hereby is, vacated: A tract of land located in part of the Northeast Quarter (NEi) of Sectioa 2taenty-four (24), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) Weat of the 6th P.M., Nall County, Nebraska, more particularly descrihed as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (Sl•?iNEk) of said Section Ttaenty-four (24); thence running easterly along the north line of the Souchwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (SS•I�NE}) for a distance of one thousand twenty (1,020) feet; thence deflecting soucheasterly to a point three hundred (300) feet west of and two hundred fifty C250) feet south of the northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of che Northeast Quarter (SW'�NE�); thence running easterly along a line two hundred fi£ty (250) feet south of and parallel to the north line of the South Half of the tvortheast Quarter (S�21Ek) to the east line of the said Northeast Quarter (NEk), as shown on the plat dated 1/16/78 marked Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorpora[ed herein by reference; it being the intent of the above description to describe the easement in the agreement between Albert J. Herman and Anna Herman and the City of Grand Island Electric Department . as recorded in the }1a11 County Register of Deeds office in Misc. Book "V^ at page 605, and the easemenc in the Agreement becween Bercha Moore and � the City of Grand Island Electric Department as recorded in the Nall County Register of Deeds office in Miec. Boolc "V" at page 604. i SECTION 2. That the title to the easement vacated by Section 1 of this ordinance i shall revert to the owner or owners of the property abutting said vacated easement. ; SECTION 3. That this ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed r in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. 'r } SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its paseage and publication, without the plat, within £ifteen days in one isaue of the Grand Ialand Daily independent, as provided by law.
