That notice �aas given, pursuant to statute, to all interested <br /> parties in Nall County, Nebraska, and to all persons known to be affected <br /> by the proposed establishment of floodway encroachment lines within <br /> certain designated boundaries along the reaches of the T�'ood River and <br /> E <br />, h'�:^ �lough beginning in che SW� of Section 1, 'P10N, R10W doi•nstream to <br /> t1�e }3a11-*ferrick County line in the SE�t oi Section 12, T11N, P.9W, a <br /> distancF of approximately seven stream miles, all in Hall County, Nebraska; <br /> and that a hearing was held in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska at <br /> 7:00 p.m, on April 22, 1976 concerning these encrozchment lines, <br /> From the evidence, both testimonial and documenfary, adduced at the <br /> - aforesaid hearing, the Commission further finds: <br /> 1. That section 2-1506.03 Rei�sue Revised Statutes, 1943, directs <br /> the Com�ission as follows: "Wl�en sufficient claca have been acquired <br /> , to reasonably locate the .loodway of a flood of one hundred year frequency, <br /> Che C�mmission shall establish, by order, after a public hearing, flood- <br /> wav enccoachment lines for such a floodway witF.in which a pol3tical sub- <br />/ division may establish land use regulations"; and that Flood Plain <br /> lnformation Report _Food River and [�'arm Slough Flood Plain Areas, Grand <br /> 7sland, `;ebraska, found in the record as exhibit 4 provides suf.ficient <br />� ; data to lorate such floodway encroachment lines as required by said section <br /> 2-1506.03. <br />� � 2. That the term "interr�ediate regional flood" as used in the afore- <br /> c <br /> mentioned er.hibit 4 is synonymous with the term "flood �f one hundred year <br /> frequency," as it is defined in section 2-1506.01(1) Reissue Revised <br /> LStatutes, 1943, and the Commission Rules and Regulations 3-(2). <br /> � � : 3.
