<br /> 1. The City of Grand Island, �Tebraska, by action of its city council �
<br /> on August 22, 1977, enacted Ordinance No. 6178 whiah directed the cor.vey�n�e
<br /> of the real estate described below and the manner and terms thereof:
<br /> 2. Ordinance No. 6178 was published in the Grand Island Daily
<br /> Tr_dependent, a legal newspaper published in and of general c�rculation in
<br /> su.ch City on August 29, 1977, and immediately thereafter, notice of such
<br /> sale and the terms thereof were published in the Grand Island Dai1y Indepen-
<br /> 'dent far three consecutive weeks, on August 29, 1977, September 5, 1977,
<br /> and September 12, 1977, alI as required by Section 16-202, R.R.S. 1943.
<br /> 3, No remonstrance against such sale was f iled with the city council
<br /> of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage
<br /> and publication of such Ordinance No. 6178.
<br /> 4. Sectio: 5 of OrdinancP No. 6178 provides that it no remonstrance '
<br /> be filed against such conveyance, the mayor and city clerk-finance direci�r
<br /> shall make, execute, and deliver to the Grantee a quitclaim deed for said
<br /> real estate, and the execution of such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized
<br /> without further action on behalf of the city council.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, iQebraska, a ��uai��pal
<br /> corporation in Ha11 County, DTebraska, as Grantor, in consideration of Three �
<br /> Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-eight Dollars ($3,568.00) , does hereby quitclaim,
<br /> grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirrn unto
<br /> HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA,
<br /> herein called the Grantee, the following described real property in Hall
<br /> County, Nebraska:
<br /> The West H21f of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest
<br /> Quarter (W�SE4SW4) , except the south one hundred forty-
<br /> two and five-tenths (142.5) feet, or 43.434 meters, of
<br /> Section Two (2), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine
<br /> (�B) West of the 6th P .M. , Hall County, Nebraska, containing
<br /> 17 .84 acres, or 7.220 hectares, more or less, as shown on
<br /> the plat dated 6/22/77 marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto
<br /> and incorporated herein by reference;
<br /> for so long as the above described premises, with appurtenances thereto,
<br /> are, and continue to be, used for county airport purposes, operated by an
<br /> airport authority.
<br /> To have and to hold the above described premises, together with all
<br /> tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the
<br /> Grantee and to Grantee's successors and assigns forever.
