The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its City <br /> Council on July 11, 1977, enacted Ordinance No. 6161 which directed the <br /> canveyance of the real estate described below and the manner and terms <br /> thereof. <br /> ' 2. Ordinance No. 6161 was published in the Grand Island Daily <br /> Independent according, to law, and notice of such sale and the terms <br /> thereof was published in the Grand Island Daily Independent for three <br /> consecutive weeks, on Ju1y 18, Ju1y 25, and August 1, 1977, all as <br /> required by Section 16-202, R. R. S. 1943. <br /> 3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City <br /> Gouncil of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the <br /> � <br /> passage and publication of Ordinance No. 6161. <br /> 4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 6161 provides that if no remonstrance <br /> be filed against such conveyance, the Mayor and City Clerk-Finance Director <br /> sha11 make, execute, and deliver to Lofgreen and DeFreece Builders a <br /> warranty deed for said real estate, and the execution of such deed is <br /> hereby authorized without further action on behalf of the City CounciL <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal <br /> corporation in Ha11 County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration of <br /> $4,375.00 received from Grantee, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, <br /> and confirm unto <br /> LOFGREEN AND DeFREECE BUILDERS, <br /> herein calZed the Grantee, the following described real property in Hall _ <br /> . . _ .�iiulli:.y,� Sv�uTaSiC€t: � . .
