<br /> ation, herein called the Grantor, in consideration of /���"

<br /> receipt of which is'hereby acknowledged, and of the further agreements
<br /> ' herein stated, hereby grants and conveys unto the
<br /> CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBEtASKA,
<br /> a municipal corporation in Ha11 County, Nebraska, herein called the` Grantee,
<br /> a permanent and perpetual easement and right-of-way to survey, construct,
<br /> reconstruct, relocate, inspect, repair, replace, extend, remove, maintain `
<br /> and operate thereon public utilities, including, but not limited to,
<br /> 4
<br /> electrical transmission lines, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water<mains,
<br /> telephone lines, and necessary surface markers and other appurtenance§
<br /> a:
<br /> upon; over, along, above, across, underneath and through a tract sixteen `
<br /> (16) feet in width comprising a part of the Southeast Quarter of the North-
<br /> west :Querter (SE4NW�) of Section Seventeen (17) , Township Eleven (11),'Dlorth,
<br /> Range I�Iine (9) West of the 6th P.M. , in the City of Grand Island, Ha11
<br /> County, Nebraska, the center line of which is more particularly described
<br /> � as follows:
<br /> '`^ Beginning at a point on the west line of Howard Avenue, said point
<br /> %' being six hundred three and twelve hundredths (603_12) feet south
<br /> ' f of the intersection of the west line of said Howard Avenue with the
<br /> south line of Tenth Street; thence running northwesterly a distance
<br /> i of five hundred fifty-six and five-tenths (556.5) feet, to a point
<br /> ; which is four hundred fifty-four and forty=eight hundredths (454.48)
<br /> feet west and two hundred eighty-seven and thirty-six hundredths
<br /> (2$7.36) feet south of the intersection of the west line of said
<br /> Howard Avenue with the south line of said Tenth Street, as shawn on
<br /> the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein

<br /> 1. Grantee shall have the right of ingress and egress across Grantor's
<br /> property for any purpose necessary in connection with the survey, construct-
<br /> ion, ,reconstruction, relocation, inspection, repair, replacement, extension,
<br /> addition to, maintenance, operation and removal of utilities. Such ingress
<br /> and egress shall be exercised in a reasonahle manner.
<br /> 2. Grantee sha11 have the right to trim or remove all trees and brush '
