The rec�rds cf the Voters' Assembly and Church Council <br /> are kept in my office. The records in my office contain the <br /> following: <br /> 1. The By-Laws of Peace Lutheran Church of Grand Island, <br /> Nebraska contain the following language relative to the meet- <br /> ing of the Voters' Assembly and conveyance of real estate: <br /> "ARTICLE II MEETINGS <br /> i 1. Regular meetings of the Voters' Assembly shall be held <br /> ;� during the months of January, April, September, and December. <br /> Regular meetings sha11 be limited to two hours in duration. <br /> f An extension may be made by resolution of the assembly. <br /> 2. Special meetings may be called by the President at the <br /> direction of the Church Council. Notice of such meetings shall <br /> be by �ail aC leasC 10 days prior to cne meetin�. Such notice <br /> shall contain the day, hour and purpose of the meeting. <br /> 4. A quorum for any meetinQ will consist of those votinR �` <br /> members present but not less than 10% of the voting members at <br /> a properly convened meeting and such a meeting will be consid- <br /> � ered le�al to transact business. However, for amending an <br /> �; article of the Constitution and By-Laws, the erection of build- <br /> ings, the purchase or sale of property, a quorum of one-third <br /> of the voting membership is required and a two-thirds majority <br /> of those present shall be required for adoption of such resolu- <br /> tions or motions unless otherwise provided by state law. <br /> � <br /> ARTICLE V TERMS AND DUTIES OF OFFICERS <br /> BOARD OF TRUSTEES � <br /> The Board of Trustees shall consist of three members of the � <br /> congreRation. Their term of office shall be three years. One- <br /> third of the Board shall be elected each year.
