� � � � =:; ,7% UU6722 CERTIFICATE I I, Sarah Willkens, being the duly elected, qualified, and acting Secretary of the Voters' Assembly and Church Council of Peace Lutheran Church of Grand Island, Nebraska, state that � I am familiar with the Constitution and By-Laws of said church, and all the minutes of the Voters' Assembly and the Church Cour.cil.. The rec�rds cf the Voters' Assembly and Church Council are kept in my office. The records in my office contain the following: 1. The By-Laws of Peace Lutheran Church of Grand Island, Nebraska contain the following language relative to the meet- ing of the Voters' Assembly and conveyance of real estate: "ARTICLE II MEETINGS i 1. Regular meetings of the Voters' Assembly shall be held ;� during the months of January, April, September, and December. Regular meetings sha11 be limited to two hours in duration. f An extension may be made by resolution of the assembly. 2. Special meetings may be called by the President at the direction of the Church Council. Notice of such meetings shall be by �ail aC leasC 10 days prior to cne meetin�. Such notice shall contain the day, hour and purpose of the meeting. 4. A quorum for any meetinQ will consist of those votinR �` members present but not less than 10% of the voting members at a properly convened meeting and such a meeting will be consid- � ered le�al to transact business. However, for amending an �; article of the Constitution and By-Laws, the erection of build- ings, the purchase or sale of property, a quorum of one-third of the voting membership is required and a two-thirds majority of those present shall be required for adoption of such resolu- tions or motions unless otherwise provided by state law. � ARTICLE V TERMS AND DUTIES OF OFFICERS BOARD OF TRUSTEES � The Board of Trustees shall consist of three members of the � congreRation. Their term of office shall be three years. One- third of the Board shall be elected each year. It shall be the duty of the trustees to administer all pro- perty belonging to the congregation; to maintain a perpetual physical inventory at all times. To make contracts; accept and receive grants and bequests; sign documents; appear in court; in short, to transact all the business of the congregation assigned ' !^��-� to them by the Voters' Assembly.
