<br /> In consideration of the:extension of the time of payment of the original
<br /> promissory note described, the undersigned, Richard L. Hartman and Patricia A.
<br /> ' Hartman, hereby covenant and agree to pay to THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF GRAND
<br /> ISLAND; GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKAy or order, the principal sum of THIRTY-NINE ,
<br /> THOUSAND AND NO/l00 DOLLARS ($39',000.00) , together with interest thereon at
<br /> 'Nine Per Cent (9%) per annum from the date hereo£,, such sum to be payable in
<br /> monthly installment of FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($500.00) each, Ueginning
<br /> on the lst day of August; 1977; and the balance of said principal sum to be paid
<br /> on July 8, 1979. Interest is to be payable annually on the 3th day o£ July,
<br /> 1978, `and on the 8th day of July, 1979.
<br /> The original principal note 11186692 in the amount of FORTY-FOUR THOUSAND FIVE
<br /> � HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($44,500.00) was executed and delivered by "the
<br /> undersigned under tha date of July J, 1976, to The First National Bank of Grand
<br /> 3s2and, Grand Islaad, Nebraska, and was due and payable on the 7th day`o£ Suly,
<br /> 1977, together with interest at 9% per annum and secured by Real Estate Mortgage
<br /> to The First National IIank of Grand Island, Grand Island, Nebraska, recorded
<br /> under pocument �i76-00388$ of the Real Estate Mortgage records of Ha11 County,
<br /> Nebraska.
<br /> The undersigned agree to pay such extended balance of THIRTY NINE THOUSAND AND
<br /> NO/l00 DOLLARS ($39,000.00, together with interest thereon at Nine Per Cent (9%)
<br /> per annum, such principal and interest to be payable in lawful money of the
<br /> United States of America at The First National Bank of Grand Island, Grand
<br /> Island, Nebraska.
<br /> All of the covenants and agreements in such or.iginal note and the Real Estate
<br /> Mortgage above-described, other than hereinbefore modified, shall be and remain -
<br /> unchanged and in full force and effect during such extended period. If default
<br /> be cnade in payment of any installment hereunder, or any part thereof, the whole
<br /> principal sum, with interest thereon, shall immediately become due and payable
<br /> at the election of the legal holder thereo£.
<br /> ? 'In further consideration o£ such extension of time of payment of such indebtedness,
<br /> ; we hereby ratify and confirm Assignment of Contract dated July 7, 1976 and such
<br /> g ` mortgage deed recorded under pocument 1f76-003888 of the Real Estate Mortgage
<br /> records of Hall County, Nebraska, as the f3rst mortgage lien upon the real property

<br /> described therein, and the whole of the title thereto as now owned by us.
<br /> The undersigned execute this Extension Agreement with re£erence to and on the
<br /> faith and credit of their property, which they now own or have an interest in
<br /> or hereafter may acquire; the express intention being to charge and to con tinue
<br /> to charge any and all of such property with the payment of the indebtedness, the
<br /> payment of which is herein extended.
